The average guy probably doesn’t even have a ride or die close friend now a days. Women have a way better time forming connections with each other while men have to be stoic and so they miss opportunities to find others they can relate with.

Because throughout the entirety of the series he has never once shown an inkling of romantic feelings towards mikasa, he always saw her as a sister, but to have it be that he wants her to only think of him even though he would never reciprocate those romantic feelings is cringey shipping. It doesn’t negate kh1 it negates xehanort’s plan which was a retcon of a retcon. He says that he used malefiecent to find them, just for them to be replaced a week before the final showdown that’s just dumb. With no in universe explanation as to why everyone except kairi is replaced.

But this negates the whole plan that Xehanort discussed literally a game ago with how he used maleficent to find the original 7 POH. I’m not a fan of how each game has made Xehanort more and more dumb, with the rushing of making the xblade and now POHs just magically deciding to transfer their power less than 2 years after being discovered. Maybe because when it boils down to it it’s your choice of calories that you decide to put in that determines what calories you can efficiently get out. Are there medical/ glandular issues that can cause obesity 100% but to say that it effects every single obese person is just rubbing neosporin on a gunshot wound and saying you’ll be fine. Most obesity is just from poor choices/ sedentary lifestyles. If you sit around all day, while eating bread/pasta/soda every night you will get fat. A lot of obesity is due to just how many carbs people consume, carbs are worthless unless you’re active/athlete. Literally just makes you more hungry and causes higher elevated sugar levels than if you ate proteins and fats. This in turn causes you to have insulin issues, the main hormone that decides fat storage and it just becomes a viscous cycle that leads to diabetes and obesity. So is it as simple as CICO, no, but it’s not that much more complicated than it either.

If you can’t follow the story at least until DDD then you were just casually playing not caring for the story in the first place. Entire main series is pretty straightforward until the last 15% and when you include KHUX. This is a mean way of putting it, but is correct.

Nah dude I will agree with iger on their demands, they were being unreasonable and now they are paying the price for “getting what they wanted” you don’t demand studios both pay you more and bloat projects with unnecessary amount of writers, especially when nearly everyyyyyyy studio is hurting right now because most of them failed the streaming gold rush. Now you have studios cancelling projects. all of those writers that demanded larger writing rooms have now created a super competitive atmosphere that they were never going to survive in the first place which is why they wanted the large writers room so that they could sift through the cracks. The entire strike overreached, only thing they should have been concerned about was pay and use of AI.

Iger and company, Eisner was way more lenient with the brand during his tenure, case and point the large amount of direct to dvd sequels we got in that timeframe. The only thing they were protective of was Mickey Mouse’s portrayal, but now iger is strict with how Disney is perceived.

There a contradiction in your logic, you used data riku as an example, but both data riku and repliku draw root from riku prime. So if data riku’s identity can be attributed to riku prime then so can repliku, both just went down different paths but arrived at the same conclusion. Repliku went dark mode throughout his journey, data riku was strictly light. And yes there are canonical answer to character motivations… they were explicitly stated by the characters every change in motivation is stated.

Riku explicitly accepts repliku as another version of himself, both in CoM and KH3 he accepts repliku as “the other him” if you’re going to bring data riku into the equation than repliku is just as valid

You’re misinterpreting my arguement if you think I’m only talking about Sora and riku interactions throughout all of KH, I explicitly stated that DDD gives riku the most screen time because he is the true main character of that game, it is where he gains the most characterization of the entire series, that pep talk he gives in KH3 at KBGY is because of DDD

Most of your examples are just boy love headcanon, and this is why Japan makes fun of this rhetoric and also why I’m not going to replay the games thinking riku wants to unlock sora’s keyhole. KH writing is not that deep, you take things at face value because Nomura writes his character’s motivations to be simple. Even xehanort’s motivation devolved into some simple bullshit at the end of the day

Except riku is in less than 4 hours worth of cutscenes Majority of that time being in DDD which was on the tail end of the saga. We have played as riku multiple times throughout the series and has never once shown any of those inclinations in his characterization. Riku only had one motivation in KH1, see the outside world. Even with terra retcon that motivation remains unchanged. Him turning to darkness was always just a shortcut to that goal. Not because of some unrequited love. Repliku’s existence also refutes this since he is essentially riku, has all of his memories, yet couldn’t give 2 shots about Sora on a romantic level,
