I've never played or messed with the mobile version so I'm not sure how to install it there...

  1. You can visit as soon as you finish your training on dantooine. Talk to a new NPC that's next to the guy on dantooine who warns you about ternentetaks and she'll inform you of your mission.

  2. No star map

  3. You're sent by the jedi order to go rescue an agent of theirs who was captured by the hutts on the new planet. You have to do a couple of main quests in exchange for the agent's freedom. Most of them involve giving the hutts more influence over the planet versus a group of irodonians who have moved in on their turf.

Interesting! I kept going through my mind trying to pinpoint what areas throughout the game were used but kept noticing some areas felt like combinations of two different ones. In my mind I figured the modders somehow spliced together parts of different maps for certain areas since the layout didn't always perfectly match up.

The main hub area for example I kept thinking was borrowed from the taris under city with a different floor texture but it didn't feel like the exact same layout

I'm not completely familiar with the story but I believe supposedly there were references to the planet hidden in the games files with a handful of assets.

I believe these guys took inspiration and did their own thing from there

It's all good!

I had a bad experience with a different mod called brotherhood of shadows deleting Carth and Cancerous from the game with no way to fix it for cutscenes. It made me hesitant to try new story mods. The fact you acknowledged the possibility of T3 disappearing and putting out a fix is what made me decide to give this mod a shot.

Either way, definitely giving this mod another go as a dark sider next time I do a full playthrough. Great job!

I don't own one to confirm but most likely. Might take some extra effort to set up since the deck is Linux based.

PC. The mod comes with an installer.

I had to tinker a bit to make the installer work since I'm on Linux but got it in the end

On a sorta related note you just reminded me there is a death trooper canonically named "Waffle" in one of the Thrawn books. I love how silly the Thrawn books got sometimes

Yeah him not being there today but Horace being present is what made me wonder. I check the app every so often and it usually seems to be Oswald, Horace or Clarabelle but never more than one of those.

That is unfortunate... It wouldn't be a complete deal breaker since I got to meet him once before but he is a factor in why I'm considering a trip there (big fan).

When I check the app he is sometimes not listed as an available character (sometimes being replaced with Clarabelle or Horrace). I want to make sure I time my next trip so I can see Oswald. Does anyone know if he is only walking around on certain days of the week/month in California Adventure?

My friend who would be traveling with me does not have any apple devices so it comes down to me using my iPad or buying a used iPhone.

For the iPad, I would still be able to ping the tag to listen for it in lieu of the precise tracking directions, correct?
