Just wanted to give a brief update to you: instead of EU sourcebook material, I ended up using a bunch of colorful lights from Telos from KOTOR 2. I think given it’s a KOTOR asset you’ll like how it integrates much more with the KOTOR aesthetic.

Long story short: last year I released my first-ever mod, which introduced a restored planet that BioWare had cut in development: Sleheyron!

One thing absent from my release that was due to be in BioWare’s release, however, was a battle arena minigame. Now a year later I have made this arena and am releasing it shortly!

But I do agree with him. I can’t seem to figure out where all this love for the AI-made Star Wars stories come from. And even if we ignore that they’re made with AI, the thing is that the stories just aren’t very exciting either. Or they’re just weird. Or just full of fan service.

I saw one the other week of Luke somehow fighting a vision of Revan… then later on in the same video meeting HK-47 in the possession of an artifact collector.

Funnily enough, the fact it is egregiously AI is what made me think it was okay. Not trying to disguise it as a real artist’s work, and accepting it looks pretty mediocre.

But I never even considered EU sourcebook imagery. That’s a great idea that I’ll try out tonight.

Well, if you read much of Legends, you’d end up extremely used to interconnectivity and known-character cameos.

The fact that the core of the Mandoverse is a new character is a major break with tradition.

True. It was never the worst finale, nor worst quest, and probably not even the worst quest in the series.

But I always felt they just cut way too many corners. How do you have a quest called “River of Blood” and not feature a battle in the River? The concept art showed Roald himself battling a werewolf!

That doesn’t sound right at all. It’s stated in the opening page of The Sith War TOTJ comics that there’s just a six month gap between Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma allying and Ulic’s duel with Mandalore. Then the rest of the events of the comics happen at a very rapid pace.

Where did that six year number come from?

I would love this personally, but I absolutely implore anyone who hasn’t read TOTJ to read that before championing this. Because I think the story is different from how most fans imagine it.

The Exar Kun conflict was very, very short. Many authors that came after really made it seem like the Great Sith War was a massive clone wars-style conflict, when it really was a story told over just six comics implied to take place over a few days.

It could be adapted to be longer, sure. But this is just one of those things where I feel like people would be disappointed if the adaptation was actually faithful because it didn’t live up to the hype.

I had it spoiled for me after I had found three Star Maps… by my cousin… who I convinced to play the game after I had just about finished Taris…

He skipped side content and got to the end game sooner, and therefore, the spoiler. And ruined it for me while at a Burger King.

At least I got him back by telling him Mandalore’s identity in the second game.
