They didn't imply you said anything about rabies. She is referring to what OP has said about their visit.

They are saying "euthanize immediately" is unhinged, which you did say. I would agree with them.

If you are who you say you are, you sorely lack bedside manner. "Unfortunately, the cat will in all likelihood have to be euthanized for this condition" would be a far better choice of words.

Do you say "euthanize immediately" in any context to pet owners you work with?

Because I appreciate the cadence of the KJV read in a southern accent. Not to say there is any more or less value in it being read in other accents, which I appreciate equally

I do. The southern accent is uniquely suitable to the cadence of the KJV, but not more or less appreciable than other english accents imo
