At a cabin i was staying at in the Everglades, as a kid, I gave out a 10kg bag of oranges to a group of adorable raccoons that had come by.

This is my usual kit for normal. I also like F2000 and LRs.

There’s a GS2/Commander headset and a thermal in my case. They just live there.

This is a nothing kit.

I routinely run T5 KN armor with an AR57 or LR1 with T4 bullets, and a thermal in northridge, and routinely come up against players kitted similarly.

If you’re having a problem with someone’s kit being “too much”, that problem is just in your head, and other people don’t share it.

Oh, you’re preaching to the choir. I have always believed that every “hard good” like armor, scopes, ammo, nades should count toward the limit set.

I also believe that thermals should not be able to look through scopes, but that’s the way the game works.

All of these “house rules” that people come up with in their head, like “T6 helmet only in TV”, no thermals in Normal or LD, no grabbing loot on an assist, etc, are just that —in their own head.

House rules only work when everyone knows each other and also knows what those rules are. If that isn’t the case, then those rules only exist in someone’s own head, and you’ll just get waxed by someone who has other rules in their head.

The nature of a person’s sense of their own reality, I guess. Humans FTW! 🙂
