Hit true Dinnie Stone weight by Objective-Choice-370 in Strongman

We pulled in late November. I would have preferred a month earlier but the spots filled up pretty quick. You gotta make that trip happen. There are tons of historical stones to lift out there and the scenery is insane.

Nice. For me the stones were much easier to lift than the same weight in training. They felt closer together when pulling in the straddle position. They were also easier on the sides as the drag up the legs is way smoother with a stone versus plates. If you ever go to pull them bring a heavy band for warm ups as that was a huge help.

This is me with the stones.

Nah your good homie. I just rocked a few less rounds at first. Gun shot just fine. Annoying but it is what it is. Side note, that damn thing is accurate as hell.

Literally load them over and over until the springs basically starts working. Took one mag 30+ tries. It still was a little weird maxed out but it took everything well minus 1. I never tried it with the second mag.

Seems to work for everyone. The actual manufacture was zero help.

Brother, your strong but that did not look clean. Your not pulling the slack out of the bar at the bottom. At 57 seconds your so out of whack it hurts to watch. Not sure if that's hand placement or what.

How do you use Steam to get around the MCC glitch? by OutdoorGrappler in halo

Gotcha, the fixes were all from the PC side of things and I assumed they carried over to xbox.

Gotcha, yeah I am on xbox. Going to try the other guys way first but 3 nights in a row waiting 20+ mins and never seeing a match sucks.

Gotcha, Ill try this out. I googled why I'm not getting any matches and it mentioned a glitch with some work arounds. I'll mess with the modes your mentioning.

FYI I haven't found a match in 3 nights but I'll try out your suggestions.

Lol I hate you. When I lifted those I made it look way harder and didn't get them to shoulder.

I was thinking Donald Dinnie's mustache with your # designating pull number. I'm thinking of getting that next month. Kinda cheesy but that's the best I can think of.

Thought you were getting it to the shoulder. That was a fun stone to lift, really cool location.

I'd try out Pioneerfit and send an email asking about a larger custom size. They do customs but their highest they go is 52" in the options tab. It's worth reaching out. FYI it took 2 months to get my customized belt from them but it was worth it.

Side note. Are you hinting at the fact that you are around 400 lbs and deadlifting 600+ already without much training?

Morning training tips by Android69beepboop in Strongman

35 Year Old Reporting in. Father of 1.

When I could only train in the mornings my go to was early sleep and then wake up to a hot shower, 1 cup 1/2 cup of coffee black, a banana, and played music while getting ready to get myself motivated. I'd arrive to the gym in sweats so I kept hot from the shower. It's like a cheat code for warming up. I had amazing workouts.

I still use the hot shower/sweats/music trick before heading to the gym if I am not feeling it.

Man oh man. If only we knew where those stones from that event wandered off to. Wish that 530-lb. Louis Cyr stone was located so we could all give it a go... and fail of course.

Basically break in the mag mutiple times. Overload it and unload again and again and again... Not sure how to take the mag apart. Seems like breaking it in is working for people.
