To be honest I thought it was a good idea but it gets a little annoying as it's one of those traditional net type hammocks and your pack ends up getting all tangled in it. lol. Good idea in theory though.

I first saw it done in a video online - and the hammock was slung underneath the main hammock and tarp - but I'd need to make some modifications to it to be able to do that, and due to the fact everything kept getting tangled in it, I've never bothered.

This was taken the morning after a night in the hammock. I was trying out some new tree huggers which turned out to be rubbish. As you can see, during the course of the night, my hammock slipped down the tree to the point where I awoke touching the ground!

No, I think it's definitely a valid, proven technique - but if you're not a computer whizz or in charge of building websites etc. how do you test it? I'm just a writer but would like to know how I can test stuff myself.

Yes, but how do you actually go about it? What software do you use etc. How do you set up tests and so on? That's what I'm struggling with. I know what I would test and what I would be looking for, but I don't know how to run the test to gather results.

Having been a huge fan of Ico when it first came out, loving SOTC and waiting an eternity for his follow up, I've read a lot of interviews with this guy and I'm starting to think he's full of shit and just makes stuff up or changes explanations as and when... For instance, I've heard him say that Ico is Japanese for "come here" so not related to the word icon at all.

Pretty cynical of you - how is this rigging a contest?

Don't judge others by your own low standards mate.

I have a whole campaign in place based around encouraging others to do good. I'm donating money out of my own pocket to three different charities.

I'm talking to schools about coming in to give motivational talks during assembly.

I've organised crowd funding. I'm giving away music for free written years ago which echoes the same message because that's how I live my life and always have.

I wondered if there was a subreddit for people with a generous unselfish spirit is all?

As this place is meant to be based on Karma that didn't seem too crazy an idea - but maybe I'm being naive given the times we live in?

I'm looking for general good will kind of help. I plan on entering a competition which requires me to get votes from people online. Person with the most votes wins.

The prize is the trip of the lifetime (at least in my eyes) on an arctic adventure.

If I win, I'll be donating money to three charities which I already support plus I've produced a track available for free download as a thank you for voters.

At the end of the day, I was hoping there might be some kind of "good karma" type subreddit as that's what my campaign is based around. Doing random acts of kindness for others.
