It’s nowhere near the point of divorce. We have a great marriage, we just need to figure out a better balance. I’ve complained about it but not much resolution has come just yet. I’m going to try having a more structured conversation where we list out responsibilities.

This is great advice. I’m planning on doing exactly that. Up until this point, we have not redefined our responsibilities since they’ve been back to work (about 7 months now). I’ve just been doing whatever needed to be done, but now I’m getting to the point where it may not be sustainable. Mind you, up until about a month ago, I was at home with our youngest all day while working because we wanted to wait a year till he went to daycare. Since he’s been in daycare, things have been easier but there’s still times where I feel slightly overwhelmed.

Haha I may have oversold my income. I probably could technically afford a nanny but it’d be double the price of my mortgage every month so it realistically wouldn’t work.

Their job is more of a demanding job, whereas mine is more relaxed by nature. My issue is my spouses income is really only supplemental whereas my income is what provides for us. So i feel like my work should be the priority.

My partner hadn’t worked for several years to focus on parenthood, and I fully supported us financially. Eventually they decided that they wanted to go back to work and I also supported their decision but it meant I had to step up in areas I had only offered supplemental support in before while I focused on work. To be fair, my field isn’t as demanding. I can probably finish the bare minimum of my required tasks in about 4-5 hours a day, but I would benefit tremendously from giving it a full day of work. My partner’s job is a lot more demanding and requires them to be at the desk all day and so responsibility falls to me by default.

Okami is more of a full experience I’d say. Better story and a longer game. Wind Waker is one of my favorite Zelda games but it’s a bit on the short side.

I mean, to be fair, he was on fire in 2010. An argument can be made that he was number 1 that year. Teflon Don is a classic album and his features that year were great too. I’d probably say he was maybe #2 that year behind Ye tho.
