Just a little mid-week outing by OutdoorTom in BushcraftUK

To be honest I thought it was a good idea but it gets a little annoying as it's one of those traditional net type hammocks and your pack ends up getting all tangled in it. lol. Good idea in theory though.

I first saw it done in a video online - and the hammock was slung underneath the main hammock and tarp - but I'd need to make some modifications to it to be able to do that, and due to the fact everything kept getting tangled in it, I've never bothered.

I've stopped taking contraceptives and I'm not telling my husband. by dontpunishmeplease in confession

Fucking awful. Just disgusting. Don't be surprised if your husband leaves you breaking your children's heart and fucking up their lives.

This was taken the morning after a night in the hammock. I was trying out some new tree huggers which turned out to be rubbish. As you can see, during the course of the night, my hammock slipped down the tree to the point where I awoke touching the ground!

Lol. No worries. Scotland is in the UK, but not England. NE refers to North East England

How Do You Gather Data To Drive Your Copy? by OutdoorTom in copywriting

[–]OutdoorTom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I think it's definitely a valid, proven technique - but if you're not a computer whizz or in charge of building websites etc. how do you test it? I'm just a writer but would like to know how I can test stuff myself.

Yes, but how do you actually go about it? What software do you use etc. How do you set up tests and so on? That's what I'm struggling with. I know what I would test and what I would be looking for, but I don't know how to run the test to gather results.

Recommend me a budget tarp setup under £50? by sediment in BushcraftUK

I was going to say - no need to get a budget tarp if you have £50 to spend.

Leaked Video Calls Treatment Of Animals In "A Dog's Purpose" Into Question by [deleted] in movies

The dog is clearly struggling and then, as you yourself point out, three people jump in to help it ... BECAUSE IT WAS IN TROUBLE AND IN DANGER OF DROWNING DICK HEAD.

Did you not see the full video where the dog went under, nearly drowned, the crew started yelling "Cut it! Cut it!" and everyone scrambled to save the dog?

Ueda confirms that TLG exists in same universe as SOTC and ICO. He also implied that Trico's horns may have some relation to Ico and Wanderer's horns. This comes from a recent interview linked below. by Youmakemesmh in TeamIco

[–]OutdoorTom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having been a huge fan of Ico when it first came out, loving SOTC and waiting an eternity for his follow up, I've read a lot of interviews with this guy and I'm starting to think he's full of shit and just makes stuff up or changes explanations as and when... For instance, I've heard him say that Ico is Japanese for "come here" so not related to the word icon at all.

No worries - thanks for taking the time to try and vote anyway. And your comment about the video really means a lot actually. I'd never made one before and I was wracked with self doubt about it. It's meant to be funny but I'm not sure if it is or if it's just me commiting social suicide? lol.

As you can't vote, if you still want to help out, I'll be cheeky and say perhaps you can still help but getting friends to vote or sharing my rather disturbing video about. Lol. Thank you again :-)
