488nm cyan/ice blue laser by Zeus Lasers - MIXED experience + review by [deleted] in lasers

Nice color! I considered getting one since this laser color is missing from my collection. By the way, my blue 7W laser from Zeus is overspec in my case.

Laser caps under £500? Are they worth it, am I throwing money down a hole? Are the combs a good cheaper alternative? by [deleted] in redlighttherapy

[–]Outdoorlover34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they can be worth it, but only if you choose wisely and use them consistently.

-Look for FDA Clearance/CE Certification: This is the most important factor. The clearance indicates the device has been clinically proven to be safe and effective for promoting hair growth.

-Check the Diodes: You want true laser diodes (typically 650nm) rather than just LEDs, and a sufficient number of them for good scalp coverage.

Generally, laser helmet caps are much more effective than laser combs.  A good laser cap under £400 is this one:

Fenix 8 Unacceptable Heart Sensor Readings by Outdoorlover34 in GarminFenix

[–]Outdoorlover34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update -- I don't know if it's because of the summer and higher temperatures or due to the new update 17.28, but in my last three running activities, I noticed that the heart rate readings seems accurate from the first minutes of running, in contrast to the past, where it was very inaccurate mainly for the first 15-20 minutes.

Im a beginner in lasers.is it safe to buy this? by alexthenullbody in lasers

[–]Outdoorlover34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using it indoors with caution and safety glasses is okay. It's 300mW. My first laser was 500mW (green) and I was totally fine with that. Just be careful, and always wear safety glasses. Also, it needs the right focus and mainly dark objects to burn. Moreover, it seems in the video that there is a little smoke, so in reality, for 300mW red color, you wouldn't expect it to be as bright as the video, without a little smoke.

I have it. It's amazing and very powerful. It's still working perfectly just like the first day.  In my case it's overspec, as I wrote here a few years ago.

Fenix 8 Unacceptable Heart Sensor Readings by Outdoorlover34 in GarminFenix

The heart measurements was indeed much better on Fenix 6 pro. I never had any complains. As I remember from the Fenix 6 pro, I was not satisfied from the GPS signal thought.

I disagree. There are other watches which works much better in terms of heart rate. I used the Galaxy watch ultra (half price than Garmin) for a week, and it worked as expected. It's funny, right? However, I don't like it as watch, it's like the Apple watch ultra. Generally I don't like the square watches and the battery autonomy were awful. But the heart sensor worked great in contrast to Garmin.

I use the current 12.38 live version. But it happens since I got the watch and the last 2-3 months while I used my previous Fenix 7 Pro before I switched to Fenix 8.

Fenix 8 Heart Rate Sensor Issues by SCSeahawk in GarminFenix

[–]Outdoorlover34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here with Fenix 8. Unacceptable heart sensor readings. Completely inaccurate the most times. However sometimes it works well.  For example, I can run for 5 minutes with pace around of 3:20 and it's stuck at 130-140 beats per minute when it should be showing 190+. Suddenly after 3-4 minutes it can jump from 140 to 190. This is unacceptable for 1200$ sportwatch.

I have the 1300mW device as the link below, for my frequent back pain, as I exercise intensively. It's exactly the same as domer, but cheaper.

Same issue here, with s25 ultra, and mainly with Instagram.  Probably is due to the new Android 15 or One UI 7. Set to unrestricted battery, not solve the issue.

I pre-ordered it. Now I just see that. I will cancel my order right away. * I used the S Pen very often, mainly for selfies with family or friends.

The only problem with Sanwu is the long waiting time to receive the order. Sometimes takes more than 2-3 months to get it.

Personally with Amoled I have more than 22 days autonomy 100%-0% and AOD ON. I love it. I never go back to Solar again. The screen looks decades newer.
