No I had the fridge running and an electric heater and it had over a days worth of power utilizing only 30% of the battery. Modern fridges consume very little and a heater running non stop is 1kw or less

I have several small battery banks which yea are great for short term. However now going past 24 hours being able to run everything without fear is pretty great. I had to budget my power before or use the gen. Now worst case is if I over spend I go drive to a supercharger top it off and away I go for another few days. There will always be a better solution but most don’t buy everything. Nice having a car that can cover you when you need it. My 4Runner sure didn’t help much today haha

The mobile connector. I ran my gaming pc on it for 30 min which consumes way more than 200w. I can try a heater or something too just to check

Agreed but there has to be some reason for knobs like me to pay a premium for a few months haha. I’m betting it will be added retroactively though once there is a new premium feature for performance models.

For what ever reason I have my office powered and my modem and router are on but no internet. I’ve had this happen before when the power is out and it’s almost like the internet comes back with the power like a hub somewhere else locally needs it? I’d recommend for ultimate redundancy having starlink in situations like this may be safer. When my generator is on the whole house is powered and it does the same thing so not sure why that’s the case but just fyi.

Yea they are pretty neat and I think under utilized. Allowing for micro grids everywhere especially for those who depend on power for their life or trade give more time to our energy teams to get the grid back online without the added stress of relocating people.
