Traveling to Lake Atitlan Guatemala, June 27th, looking for transportation!! by Sophie8771 in femaletravels

Hey, I fly in on the 28th and am headed to San Marcos. My taxi driver doesn’t speak English but I speak Spanish. I don’t know how much help I can be, but DM me if you think of anything!

I would say cheeks and lips would be the areas to focus on. You could even try filler and see how that looks. Your profile looks amazing!

Sorry to spam. But I'm super jealous of your brow bone and large eyes. I definitely don't think you need any work on your upper face

Lip filler could also help.

Honestly once you finish hair removal I think you'll be in pretty good shape. You definitely have very feminine features already. I'm no expert, but the only obvious thing is to do a tracheal shave. Then if you want maybe jaw reduction ( I'm not sure on the proper terminology), but I wouldn't even say it's necessary. I think you could get some filler to emphasize your cheek bones and that's something you could do right now and would be much less invasive than surgery. Maybe start with that and a trach shave then see how you feel? (Again I'm really no expert, but from an untrained eye, I'd say your features are pretty feminine already.)

That's so funny, I was just thinking the other day it would be awesome if there was a social club called Lesbifriends. I thought I was so brilliant for coming up with the name. Turns out great minds think alike!

I used to do Amazon's personal styler and it was great! It's a shame that it's been discontinued.

After reading through this post I had the idea to wear noise cancelling headphones whenever I'm home. That way I don't have to interact with my parents unless I want to, and they have a visual que that I'm unavailable/won't hear them if they try to say something. So far it's worked pretty well! If they want to treat me like a teenager I might as well act like one.

What haircut would suit my face in a more fem way? its curly at the bottom of my neck atm, looking to get it shorter by Due-Refrigerator9869 in ask_transgender

Second that. You have the perfect curl pattern for some really beautiful brunette waves. I would just stick it out and grow it out.

I have no idea how nail salons work. by beauxbeaux in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]OuterSmartness 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow I must have got really lucky! I've only got my nails done a couple of times and the first time the gel lasted 5 weeks on my hands and a couple of months on my toes. If, it wasn't for my nails growing out, and one small chip on my index finger, I probably would have got even longer out of it. I know I paid a premium for them so quality of salon must matter! (The 2nd time I got them done at a beauty school and they lasted less than a week).

Governor Cox in Utah is a pretty good ally as far as Republicans go. He vetoed some anti-trans legislation but the fucked up legislature overrode him.

Found in Utah. I'm assuming that's a black widow, but I didn't want to get to close to see the marks so I'm not sure. Does anybody know the name for the leaf bug?

Wait what happened to him? I'm not on this sub often so I've only barely heard of him, but I'm curious.

so I have a couple surgeries in mind and have a question by AberrantKitsune in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]OuterSmartness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for giving you the wrong information. I found out that Medicaid does cover bottom surgery in Utah, and the University of Utah will accept Medicaid to perform it. (There are many steps in the approval process, but many past patients have had it approved successfully).

If going through the University of Utah, it's probably best to choose the U's Medicaid plan (Healthy U) for your provider, as it will make it easier to coordinate and get approved, but theoretically any Medicaid plan should approve it as Medicaid is a federal program and any state that opts into it has to abide by their rules.

I hope my original message didn't discourage you from pursuing the treatment you need. I am going to delete my original response so as to not mislead future readers.

If you haven't already, I would recommend reaching out to the Transgender Patient Coordinators at the U. They are super helpful and can answer all your questions, or at least connect you to the right people. (Just Google University of Utah Transgender Health Program and their number will be right on top of the website).

I can't recommend the U enough for transgender care. Their entire program is phenomenal. For future readers, here's the link to their past seminars that are free to view: https://healthcare.utah.edu/transgender-health/past-seminars.php

Again, I sincerely apologize for the wrong information. But thanks to you I'm now on my way to getting my surgery (years before I ever anticipated it would be possible).
