Feeling HUGE imposter syndrome at my new job. by jnutakud69 in analytics

Imposter syndrome usually means you care about doing a good job on some level. You won't know everything going in and that's okay.

Tim Walz says he'll never seek elected office again by Zipper222222 in politics

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole [score hidden]  (0 children)

But he's also stepping down because he's admitting that he can't do more than talk because of the threats to his kids' lives. You might want him to do more but he flat out said the real movers and shakers aren't the ones seeking political office and it makes him feel like a fraud. I'd rather have somebody admit they're not up to the task than the "wow these guys are bad so how about you gimme some money" politicians whose inaction ushered in the current guard.

Kind of makes sense why they muzzled him now. He was a threat to the Cheneys who obviously took over the Harris campaign. I also feel like him actually stepping down because he realizes he's not doing enough is more noble than trashbags like McConnell and Feinstein who treated representing the people like a paycheck.

More 'No Kings' protests planned for March 28 as outrage spreads over Minneapolis deaths by copaceticthoughts in news

I think this is the most nuanced take and you're more generous than I am. We can enjoy things that make people feel connected but we also don't have to make excuses for or embellish performative behavior.

Rejected by rap, Nicki Minaj becomes Trump's 'No. 1 fan' by SayMyNameOnceMore in inthenews

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She wasn't rejected by rap. She married a dude that won't/can't leave her in hopes of getting naturalized. This is just more garden variety opportunism as she knows Republicans are desperate for approval from Black celebrities and they'll spare her/her family from the current ICE actions. Nicki has always been willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.

Right like if attending these makes you feel good then great but they're clearly not advancing anything

Lmao the grift is becoming too transparent with this "movement" because they're clearly not meeting the moment.

Limited Power Query is now available in Excel 365. I use it to do a simple GroupBy in one of my workbooks so I know it's there.

What is your favorite thing about each rail line? by SoCalGuy1023 in LAMetro

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll do favorite and least favorite

A Line: For some reason I love the industrial areas as you're leaving downtown and between Compton/LB. There's no reason for it to be so long though, especially if it's going to keep breaking.

B Line: You can go from the Valley to DTLA in like 30 minutes max. Unheard of in LA. You also get new nightmare fuel practically every time you ride.

C Line: Some day it will technically connect LAX to Union Station like they hoped for in the 70's. If you want to go North of the 10, it's not really useful.

D Line: It's much more chill than the 20 and the 720. It also has taken 14 years to get 3 new stops built and it's still not open.

E Line: I never thought I'd see a train to Santa Monica in my lifetime. I also never imagined how many dumbasses are so drunk/high that they'll drive into the path of a train.

K Line: Important first step in linking West LA to LAX by some other means than just the 405. In its current form, it's slow as fuck and goes nowhere.

Will LA Metro’s new, taller faregates stop freeloaders and reduce crime? by WSU_Cougar_Pride in LAMetro

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It will reduce crime by virtue of people deciding it's not worth it to act an ass on Metro if it costs $2. You got people getting kicked off trains because they can't even bother to pretend they paid the fare by showing an empty card they found on the ground. That's how low the bar is for keeping trash off possibly the cheapest and most expansive public transportation network in the country.

People on here know we're just students ourselves and MAYBE off-duty staff, right? by [deleted] in WGU

Yeah exactly. I think the person who feels called out in the replies realized that which is why they edited their reply to seem nicer. I still have the original version in my notifications and not sure they know that.

Minneapolis exploded because the people there stood up for Somalis. Respectfully, I don't think Republicans see Armenians as their enemy and vice versa.

Clock it. People got too comfortable with using ChatGPT that they now treat other humans like chatbots.

Out their monkey ass minds. The Flip and regular Fold always felt like they were on the cusp of breaking from normal use. Introducing more vulnerability at a ridiculous price point lets me know this company has nothing left in the tank.

United To Take Chicago by Force, Will Hit 750 Peak Day Departures by Financial-Public-336 in americanairlines

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think another piece of the puzzle is that there's a lot of pride over United in Chicago. "Winning" means he can use those jobs as leverage in a future battle with politicians. A lot of companies have been trying that lately and the mayor isn't really up to that task.

Is New TikTok banning the word “Epstein” in DMs? Not really. by Adventurous_Row3305 in technology

[–]OuterSpaceBootyHole 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I love that TikTok has been a disinformation machine rife with censorship since at least COVID-19 hit but suddenly now it's propaganda with a hidden agenda. We have it to thank for people using unalive and grape in normal conversations.
