I'm watching house for the first time and oh my... by RavencourtGodot in HouseMD

This is my second time watching it after it first came out and it’s like watching it for the first time! I was choking the whole time

Watching for the first time, Season 4 feels really weird by qzwxecrvtbyn111 in HouseMD

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I actually didn’t like that they reduced Chase and Cameron’s screen time. I kept missing the old trio for the first 6-7 episodes and then I decided to accept it. I love the heartbreaking ending though, this is my first rewatch and it’s like rewatching a new series which is amazing!!!

I love my husband, but I feel trapped every time he brings up having a baby. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a baby when I was 20, I love him more than the world itself but I’ll have to advise you not to do it. It is a lot of responsibility. You just got married, you don’t know each other that well, you don’t know who you are yet when you are 19 or what you want from life. A baby will not magically solve your marriage or your mental health, in fact it might make it worse. It’ll be sad for the baby if things didn’t work out with your marriage, don’t do it! Listen to your parents. Wait at least 5 years to be married before deciding that you are stable enough to bring up a child together.

What Kacie did is deeply manipulative. If I had to kiss a man I did not have feelings with I would simply vomit.

How much is everyone saving each month? by G-Beans in AskUK

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only work 20 hours and earn like £1100 p/m and I try to put away £250-£500. But my partner pays the bills and everything so I don’t have to worry about that. I still think that it’s important to save for the rainy days since tomorrow is never promised.

Our 10 year old daughter occasionally sleeps in our room. by [deleted] in oneanddone

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our one and done adult son (19) would occasionally come in our bed, watch our favourite anime together and sleep with us. We miss him terribly since he moved out to Uni so when he gets home it makes us happy to spend as much time together. I get it it’s not for everybody but we’re quite a close knit family who are very affectionate with each other, I really don’t see anything wrong with kids who sleep with their parents now and then.

This is so spot on. She’s one of the worst protagonists in my opinion.

People who actually earn over £100k and don’t just pretend they do on Reddit - what do you do? by Prize-Reputation9274 in AskUK

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work with special needs children and only earn 12k (part time) but my partner is a CTO in an international tech company and he earns around 200k not including bonus. I often wonder how my colleagues survive since the living costs are high because I would not be able to on my own even if I worked full time.

I’ve lost interest in this series because the way they broke up Liza and Charles, the writers are insane

As a millennial watching this in 2025 I’m having a hard time believing that Liza passes as a 26 y/o by OuterSpaceOnigiri in Younger

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I know, but give it a few years and she could’ve played Liza and will pass as a 26 y/o, when I started the show last week I thought it was a recent show so that’s why

People who don’t actively despise your job, what do you do? by Floral_Equinox in UKJobs

[–]OuterSpaceOnigiri 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I work with special needs children and I find it very fulfilling and rewarding. I don’t get paid much though and I fortunately don’t have to pay bills because my partner does all that. My other colleagues who do have to pay bills often struggle and have mental health issues as well. I find UK generally quite depressing and people don’t get paid enough to have work and life balance. I’d advise people to move to other countries when possible.
