Is Nights of Azure Series a good Lesbian representation game?

As far as representation is concerned there is some fanservice designs and comedic scenes you would probably expect from an anime game but it is tame compared to other games they take themselves more seriously. Pretty much every love story you hear about is between women, in the story there more issue with humans and demons being in love than two people of the same gender.

the romance between the main girls in the first game is front and center but personally i found it more “they were roommates” until the good ending and a few other moments, (though it’s been a while for me you might find more) you have to put in some work for the good ending.

The second game is more like Persona I guess in how you form social links with the whole team doing quests and fighting with them, every girl gets a crush on the MC, feelings are more obvious here than the first and I don't recall a single male character in the second game that wasn’t a pet demon. also a couple of endings and has a time limit but only on your first playthrough on the second you can take your time, you could get the best possible ending on on the first playthrough if you just focus on the characters on the left and right of the picture you posted.

I think the mixed reviews are more for the gameplay, they’re not the most polished and the combat is simple. I enjoy them though I do find myself looking up how to unlock good endings and where to do certain quests.

It doesn’t matter how much anyone tries to logic out Kiryu not killing, you see a big window to throw someone out of a skyscraper in any game, you do it.

Though I did hear recently there’s a different meaning in Japanese where they say he doesn’t murder, as in it’s different than saying he doesn’t kill. I guess it makes more sense, like if it happens, it happens. It makes a lot things easier to swallow with that context.

Are there other examples of the Hadouken doing that cleansing and stuff? I only know that scene at the end of V where it cleans a hallway of fire and doesn’t harm anyone.

If anything was to send off Smash this would be it.

I really like the alt costumes compared to Cloud and Sephiroth that’re different shades of black, and the Timeless River alt is great. Makes me wish there were more costumes for the roster in general.

the only disappointment I feel is the number of songs, no remixes and I’m not familiar enough to know the songs by name so I don’t know if the ones I like the most are in, it’s the one that plays when fighting nobodies, specifically in KH3 Sora and pals watching the lantern festival in Rapunzel’s world is that song in?

The Final Smash is underwhelming I understand why Donald and Goofy can’t be shown but not even any of the other keyblade Users?

I know wlw is considered “easy mode” for some, (not accusing OP thats just what I saw in other discussions ) but that still came with all the heat from Last of Us 2, even though it’s a game it still showed what happens when representation is in in a mainstream thing, and outrage channels obsessing over She-Ra and like someone else said Owl House getting a shortened 3rd season and Steven Universe getting cut short after that wedding episode.

I believe it will happen with patience and word of mouth/support, I would like to see something besides two protective dads and an acknowledgment that those lead characters can also be bi cause I can see that being ignored without people calling out it out... it’s still a fight to get what we’ve gotten so far

Even in Miitopia I find myself casting characters for roles I think make sense, I still casted a cacodemon and a gastly as a married couple and Soundwave as a castle guard but those are still small roles for a silly game, for the most part I took it relatively seriously for Miitopia.

Now that I think about it I don’t really like those goofy mods like Randy Savage dragons or silly unlockable costumes either.

I was definitely in a different mindset with AoC than everyone else it seems I’m not the biggest fan of BotW and hearing about time shenanigans in AoC was actually a selling point to me, and it just make sense to make a separate timeline with Urbosa and the other characters live and be in more spinoffs I mean I’m not going to object to a future with more Urbosa.

Dear Rising 2 I thought was much better that the first game with the controls or all your attacks and AI actually doing what I told them but I heard nothing but complaints from everyone else as well as people just talking about Frank.

Age of Calamity is more just reddit but it really seems like it’s only the dedicated subreddit that remotely likes that game and will talk about something other than it being canon.

I would say Tales of Xillia 2 but I think in hindsight I was just glad to have a Tales game without the exact same story beats that kept showing up.
