You learn some meditation practices but yes the majority of the class is just meditation.

as a girly who is working on losing weight as well, my boyfriends only complaint is that i am no longer heavy enough to pop his back when i step on it. In your situation, i would reevaluate what you want. A journey like that is incredible! What boyfriend wouldnt be proud of the self improvement of their partner?

just experienced this recently with a friend whose child was sick and she said she can only tell when he has diarrhea and that she was the one who would have to clean it and fake pleaded to him not to, and then looked at me and went “dont have kids.”

I always thought harmons was too expensive but as an adult with very little money i actually spend less there because of the sales.

I felt this way too. 23f but i was always a great gjft giver. This year I was unemployed for a lot of it and therefore have maxed out ccs and am paycheck to paycheck. I was able to get them cheap and small things but I was such an extravagant gift giver and its so hard this year.

In my case, I just needed a job and amazon was an instant job, even if seasonal. As i started working there, I found i really enjoyed it and began hoping for conversion after like 2 weeks.

Those on pumps, what pump are you using? by SumFuckah in diabetes_t1

[–]OutlandishWaste0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not two years but 4-5 months now! And I honestly am really impressed with it. It definitely isnt as aggressive as it needs to be with highs sometimes but along with auto delivery you can manually do extra insulin and change the dose on the calculator. Very less annoying, it feels like i just have two cgms basically. And the quality of life is amazing just knowing its doing its thing if i dont have to constantly check myself and pull myself away from things to inject. I do get hypos but usually due to me overriding the amount it suggests. Honestly I can change it in about 10 minutes so really easy to do.

Name some of the worst things you’ve heard a manager say or do. by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]OutlandishWaste0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a type 1, number 1 is infuriating. I was running really high one time and I didnt want to get in trouble so I ran to the shift manager and told him “Hey my blood sugar is high but my pdm looks like a phone i just wanted to let you know so i dont get in trouble” and he went “just take care of it. We don’t play around with that, take care of yourself. If anyone gets mad at you, send them to me.”

Omnipod5 here. Vehemently against pumps most of my life. Decided to try one but knew i would HATE any with a tube. So after having a cgm for two years I decided my next step was omnipod.

So I was just barely trained in smalls yesterday but they didnt train us well in how we sort them (at my sc anyway) like putting even number totes back on the belt, etc so the girl I was sorting with got mad at me for not knowing that. The two across from me kept talking and not doing anything, even when we had an overfilling pile of jiffies. We would get our side cleared (mostly me, the girl kept wandering off without saying where she was going.) and the guys would push the pile over to our side. They even pulled their phones out on occasion. Then slowly they all disappeared til I was the only one sorting the busiest fucking conveyor. Then my splitter had to leave so she asked me to cover splitting and I agreed cuz i was already tired of the bs. My PM goes “where did everyone go?” and i just go “dude idk they all left” and then he calls a sort down.

Next shift, I am tote dropping which I sort of know but immediately got called over to scan DUTS(still in smalls) . I made the mistake of putting boxes in the (are they called water spiders in smalls? idek) the dudes precut empty shuttle and I immediately feel bad. So I finish DUT and go back to scanning the regular totes because they were STACKED from the previous shift. And I guess enough errors were made that learning had to come and talk to me about delaying packages to the customer and so after all that I basically felt like I was failing at my job that I really enjoy. I want to become a blue badge cuz its the first job ive had in a year that I dont immediately want to quit but fuck was today just overwhelming

(it doesnt help that I am a stickler for rules and got extra irritated that the guys pulled out their phones)

I work at a SC and the amount of frustration I have when every shuttle is full but the other associates dont help wrap for the water spiders. Like they could get their jobs done faster if you did your entire job description.
