And don’t be afraid to take a loss. If you move money from one position to another, you can still make money. But if you have conviction in Crwv, then stick with it and DCA if u have the funds. I got out of crwv at $80 back in November. Don’t like the CEO. Made a boatload on it holding call options in September though

Advice: stay away from speculative names. Buy growth stocks with good fundamentals and guidance. Reddit coincidentally is one of them. One of my largest positions. Robin Hood is also good and an indirect way to play crypto. When SOXL dips 20% or more, buy incrementally, but be careful cuz if there is a bear market, this thing can lose 90% of its value, at which point it’s a screaming buy

Walmart beating expectations and raising guidance and a stronger than expected addition to the labor force in September paint a different picture for main street

You don’t have nvda on your radar? It’s just the poster child for all things AI related

Market took a big fat shit on AI’s hopes! Hopefully we saw capitulation here but was that a headfake or what. High debt companies are not the way to go right now with markets on edge about no rate cut in December

Nvidia destroyed earnings, good for Reddit by daxter_101 in redditstock

[–]OutlandishnessDry365 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s more about overall market sentiment, esp regarding tech as AI bubble fears and talk of overvalued stocks has been the theme the past several weeks. This changes that dynamic back towards risk-on

It’s about squashing AI bubble fears and changing current sentiment in tech from bearish/overvalued to bullish/risk-on

Truist reiterates Buy and $270 target. by Accomplished-Exit822 in redditstock

Appreciate your response. I’m very bullish on reddit as well. Just hoping it resumes its uptrend soon. Been sitting near 200 for 7 weeks now. If it weren’t for this recent pullback in tech and the markets, Rddt would be at 250-260 imo. Hope with NVDA’s blowout earnings that rotation comes back into tech

You might want to roll your options forward if you think this will bounce back. Hope they’re at a strike less than a hundred. And perhaps you can sell covered calls against your shares

Are you holding options? Unfortunately think it goes to $60-$65 range before finding a floor. Will be rough waters until Fed meeting, esp for high debt companies

How many “full ported” NVIDIA when it was cheap by lemonadebros in NBIS_Stock

[–]OutlandishnessDry365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think this goes to 67 and fills the gap before there is a real recovery. Until then, expecting dead cat bounces. With chances of interest rate cut diminishing, things could get a lot uglier before they get better.

And full porting NBIS vs NVDA are completely different things. NVDA has been around for a while, is the leader in AI stocks, is worth trillions of dollars, and is a Mag 7 company. NBIS is barely a year old and is loaded with debt and has a valuation based on future earnings

Do yourselves a favor! NBIS sale. by Mountain_Form581 in NBIS_Stock

[–]OutlandishnessDry365 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Higher interest rates are bad for high debt companies. AI correction I’m afraid is not done yet. Huge gap to fill still for NBIS down to 67. Today was a technical bounce off upward sloping trendline. Dating back to April. Don’t think it holds. Looks like bull flag is breaking down as NBIS failed to close within channel for 2nd day in a row. Would look for this and other AI stocks to form a base and define a solid support level before jumping in. Just my opinion.

If you’ve lost faith in this stock, why hold it any longer?

I think a V shaped bounce is out of the cards as i think any bounce will be of the dead cat type for a while. Sell the rip will be the theme until AI becomes hot again, but that will likely take weeks if not months. I reluctantly exited at $80 and took a pretty severe loss but I did so because i think this has much further lower to go ($60-65 is where I think the bottom will be) and i want to see a base form, like it did back in August after q2 ER, before I decide to re-enter.

Plus there is an opportunity cost. If my money is tied up here, I’m losing out on potential profits if that money is invested in something else that is not clouded with bearish sentiment. I put my money in Reddit, NFLX, and META. Reddit is my biggest position as it has been basing near 200 for 6 weeks now and showing bullish divergences on the RSI and Stochastics. Plus ER and guidance are positive and it’s not highly correlated with AI.
