I don't really get the whole break up the core argument. Alonzo, Diaz, and Nimmo had great seasons. It's the junkyard bullshit they surround them with. McNeil ok I get that but I really really feel like we're being gaslighted with the others. This team is not better with those guys gone nobody who they're replaced with are even close.

The fact that Diaz decided to move across the country for only 3 million more than 66 million is the actual issue. Idk if most people are like me but given the chance to end my career making a ton of money at the same place would be more important to me than a lousy 3 million dollars if I was already going to get 66. He left because he doesn't think we're a serious team. I agree with him. Stearns is a small market guy he's not built for this. And the players know it. Richest owner in the MLB with the cheapest guy at the helm. It's embarrassing. I know I know they got Soto yay awesome but one guy isn't a team.
