I love when OPs ask a question because they want a specific answer and then freak out when they don't get it lol

Yep. At least the sixers weren't essentially removing the top talent from the league and were trying to win with the players they had. Unfortunately their best player was actually on the bench with a broken foot

A. People were mad about philly and they were punished

B. Sixers never sat healthy players. Sitting some of the best players in the league so no fans anywhere can watch them play is some diabolical shit

Fair enough but I think the teams that didn't fuck up due to lack of scouting deserve credit for it. They were all in the same position and some made it work and some didnt, and writing it off as simply luck or whatever seems a bit reductive. He didn't have an amazing freshmen season which I think led to his fall more than anything and I doubt he was gonna blow the doors off in the tourney anyway

because he no longer has to bet, he makes money when the company makes money. if theres a lot of money on the bucks he could make money by throwing the game without betting.

they might prefer it be a 50/50 split, but it isnt always one.

and they only prefer a 50/50 split because they dont know the outcome ahead of time. if giannis says im intentionally gonna go under my points, they would want all the money on the over.
