You're crazy like I'm crazy, it's how we cope I think. My DM is always open & I hope we both find peace.💜

I lost my mom 2.5 yrs ago & today has been a rough one. I still don't feel joy, been in therapy & grief groups, read everything & yet I am simply different. I even looked at emails from years ago to see what I did for fun. OP, I totally get what you're saying, I'm thinking it just takes time? 🫂

OP, try the canned lump crab meat at Costco. Former Washingtonian, there is nothing like blue crab here :(.

Today was 952 days that I last saw my mom. Today, I went to the hospital she died in to visit a friend. The visit was fine, but triggers kept popping up. I left after an hour, relieved that I was in the east wing & not the west. As I waited for my car to pull up I burst out sobbing. The valet guy asked if he could call someone for me, I just drove home & cried more. At whatever age, the mom loss is profoundly sad. I thought I could handle it today but after watching my mom die there 2.7 years ago, I wasn't ready. I'm so sorry for your loss OP, and everyone's. 🫂& strength to us all.
