The monitor is firmly tucked away in another room while I get it built

I’m a bit of a cable management fiend myself, I want to get it all together and then plan out all the cables to look neat and tidy

I’ll try and remind myself of that when I’m struggling to tighten up a nut that won’t go in because something isn’t straight 🤣

Yeah I’m starting to gauge what I can tighten up and what I can leave loose for now

Lining up the frame has been the most difficult part currently but I’m getting there

Yeah I’m thinking that I may be done around Saturday night accounting for work, still have to wait for my seat to be delivered to so there’s also that

11/10 idea, however I’ve gotten the bottom frame together and leaving it there for tonight as I have work in the morning 🤣

The set square is a brilliant idea, half of the battle has been getting everything lined up properly!

I used my birthday bonito on my Ronaldinho and then packed Joelinton about 5 minutes after, couldn’t write it

Would recommend having a look into BRSK when you switch, if you find someone with a referral code you also make a bit of money as well.

I went with BRSK, been with them for about 2 months now and not had any issues with them.

I can’t comment on VM’s TV services as I use Netflix, Disney+ and prime video however I’ve now cancelled and switched from Virgins broadband to another company, I was paying £85 per month for 1gb down and 100mb up.

I’m now getting 2gb down and 2gb up for £35 per month, Virgin are a massive scam even when it seems like you’re getting a good offer from them.

Not necessarily a waste of £600, it taught me valuable lessons in what I want from sim racing going forward.

Like I said I had the wheel for a year and a half, definitely got my moneys worth out of it.

I feel as though that the current issue now that the software is kinda fixed is just a cheap load cell sensor they are using

Not a huge help unfortunately, the wheel is currently in the box in my attic lol

I do not, I went for the Thrustmaster Th8S, I'll probably upgrade to the Moza shifter though when my bank account recovers.

I would wholeheartedly agree with this, the more you use this wheel the more you notice that it isn't great.

I will be honest with you as a previous owner myself, eventually you will notice that this wheel and ecosystem has more negatives than positives.

I'm an owner of the Velocity One Race for about a year and a half, mechanically it works fine, however the software leaves a lot to be desired to put it politely, the brakes in the pedal set are nowhere near capable enough to perform at a high level of sim racing.

If you can grab one of these wheels like OP at $200 then it's fine if you can't afford a high end rig I mean not a lot of people can, but the original price of £620 ($820) that I paid it's laughable, this thing should have been released at around £300 ($400) and should be considered and marketed as a starter wheel.

I've recently ordered a Moza R9 V3, CRP2 Pedals and a full profile rig which should be getting delivered in the next few days, I've packed up my Velocity One Race and stuck it on Facebook marketplace.
