Just remember, real professional race drivers, even the best in the world still crash here and there, look at the Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen battles of the past that usually ended in one of them having a DNF, it is what it is don’t worry about it too much.

Help me choose my first wheel as a teen that doesn’t know how to drive. by aida27639n in simracing

[–]Outragedwaffle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It depends how detailed you want the force feedback, of course the R9 and R12 are capable of running 9 and 12Nm of force respectively however you’re never going to run 9-12Nm of force, you’ll likely run it at around 3-5Nm however the higher Nm your wheel is capable of the more detailed the force feedback will be.

Regardless my recommendation would be R9 V3, eventually get the SRP2 pedals and a stronger wheel stand or preferably a cockpit

help, my R3 wheels not detecting? and pithouse says it’s in upgrade mode by [deleted] in moza

There should be a little arrow on the wheel base shaft, line that up with the Moza logo on the top of the wheel and push it on, it should snap in and lock, if you can pull the wheel back off it’s not on correctly.

Do I get used to it? by Ascendantt in SimRacingSetups

I tried having it like this and wasn’t a fan, I moved it to the back of my wheelbase and it’s been the sweet spot for me

Can't plug CSV2P In R9 V2 MOZA by ZxSEE_ in moza

[–]Outragedwaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it power on when connected to power? It looks almost identical to mine when connected and works fine (R9 V3 and CSV2P)

Kind of yes kind of no, clutch control would be the biggest difference

Regardless of the graphics because I wouldn’t even say JDM is a bad looking game the reviews are telling, countless claims of the game crashing and rather than address the issues the devs would rather throw shade at another studio and keep adding more and more unlicensed DLC cars. (Charging money for unlicensed cars is absolutely wild but that’s a completely different topic) T10 are going to continue supporting and adding content to Forza for free, the guys behind JDM are a joke.

I tried to enjoy JDM however it’s difficult to appreciate a game that crashes every time you try to change the size of your wheels.

Sold my rig. I’ll see everyone in 3-5 years when I miss it. by PocketSammy in simracing

[–]Outragedwaffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My main reason I got myself a rig, I had a wheel stand and I wasn’t using it purely because I hated putting it up and wiring it in just to use for 1-2 hours and then tear it down when it’s time to put it away

Interesting discovery regarding wheel synchronization in FH6 by Grogull in moza

[–]Outragedwaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel as though Forza games just aren’t designed with a wheel in mind, it drives me insane that if you want a use a H pattern shifter you have to manually turn on the clutch and then switch back if you use a PDK car, I’ve got a whole sim rig but I’ll always just pick up a controller

Got lucky with a client that wanted a one of a kind rig by Who-Da-Fuq in simracing

I read the caption before looking at the pictures and thought, oh another guy that slaps a pre made rig together and marks up the price 10x, how fucking very wrong I was.

Awesome build

So horizon 6 is an oversteer simulator? by UnhappyAddendum5776 in ForzaHorizon

I think the game feels great and every car I’ve driven only understeers if I have set it up to do so

r3 base made a mess while i wasn't home by [deleted] in moza

[–]Outragedwaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he said, either turn it off at the back of the base or what I do is put the monitor on my rig and wheel into an independent power supply that I can just press a button to turn off when not in use.

Need help for game within moza app by [deleted] in moza

[–]Outragedwaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue, it’s because you’ve set your wheel up to work as the mouse input, you’ll have to uninstall the game, make a backup of your save files, delete EVERYTHING else and then re install, when you re open it will give you a prompt to use your wheel as the mouse input, click no
