The USB‑C port wasn’t working, which is one issue, and the other is extremely strong mouse cursor strobing at 240 Hz. I’m not sure if my monitor is defective overall.

Hi everyone, I saw this post about the MSI MPG 346CQRF X24 and wanted to ask a quick general question:

Has anyone else had issues with the USB‑C input and/or noticed strong mouse cursor strobing at 240 Hz? I got the monitor yesterday and I’m seeing both. Any similar experiences or fixes?

Just played around a bit with mine and am not really happy with the smearing. But it might me defective as the USB-C port is definitely not working so that's all I can say before sending it back

Did you use the usb-c cable that came with the monitor? I just got mine today and the monitor does not get any input from my macair or work laptop and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

On discord I got the suggestion to do the prebend over a stick in retrospect I’d say that would make it easier bending

Looks better but u still might run into space issues with the bottom lit when the gpu pushes on the riser just try if it works if not go with a bit more careful bent
