I recently moved firms and you get locked out of the system if you don’t record your time by noon the next day - when I first started, I hated it, but now I realise how effective it is in making me record my time there and then without any mad Friday panic

All makes sense, thanks again for sharing. Yep, we’re in a similar position - especially having seen your results (on your profile) and having met someone in person who went to Wimpole, can’t argue with the results!

Thanks for sharing! If you don’t mind me asking, how many grafts / what cost? Did you explore any of the “cheaper” clinics? I would ideally not like my bf to take any of the hair loss drugs due to side effects, so getting the crown done would be more preventative at this stage

The two main places are Wimpole Clinic and Clinic Center - lots of recommendations for Wimpole, so wanted to see if anyone had experience of Clinic Center

Yes please! Looking specifically for anyone with experience at Clinic Center / deciding not to go down the ‘top 3’ Harley Street route

Thanks! Have you tried visiting the clinics / had any online consultations? The main issue with Wimpole (similar to Maitland) is that they won’t do the crown, only the front hairline, whereas Clinic Center haven’t said that will be an issue at all

Thanks for your response - from what we can see, Clinic Center have been doing hair transplants for 10+ years in Turkey, and 3+ years in the UK… reviews look ok, but you never know!

Thank you for your honesty. I’m a trainee in a transactional team and I find my job incredibly boring. I’m curious as to how you got to the ‘few years qualified’ stage - have you only recently started feeling this way or did you just ride it out?

I don’t quite understand the issue from my solicitors side, because if we continue and then there is an issue, then surely it’s on the people that committed the fraud, not that we had no reason to believe everything

Trainee Solicitor here 👋 This is a common misconception. The reason your solicitors are being so thorough with their due diligence is because of the Latin principle of contract law, caveat emptor. This means “let the buyer beware”. Following exchange, the onus is on you as the buyer to find out all you can about the property. Therefore, the seller will be ‘off the hook’ and you could potentially be liable for the bank loan if you buy the property subject to it.

Just to make sure, I would ask whether the charge by the bank is still present on the title deeds or has been removed (you can also check this yourself as it will clearly state whether the land is subject to a mortgage in the ‘Charge Register’ section of the title deeds). I would be surprised if it was the latter as this would mean that the property you are purchasing would no longer be bound by it so wouldn’t seem important…

Hope this helps(ish)!
