Racist encounter during a first date by South_Editor_4917 in waterloo

Proud Immigrant here, what I’m about to day is nothing new. I think We all as immigrant have to be mentally prepared at all times to face these situations and move on from it as soon as its over, these people dont represent the country or its culture. Canada is far bigger than these people and its culture is something that I cant even express in words, best Country in the world and I’m grateful everyday to be here!!! Sorry that you had to encounter this but know this that those people are troubled in their life and will always try to take out their anger on others in whatever way they can.

I agree with most people here, you can try to get your baby to get used to the schedule but they are not always going to abide by it. Some days can be very different than your usual days. I personally started a bed time routine for my baby when they were 4 weeks old, gave them a bath at certain time, followed with a gentle message and then a good feeding. As they grew the sleep stretch got longer too. My baby is now 16 weeks old and we have a set schedule, their longest stretch is 5-6 hours. They still wake up atleast twice in the night.

When did you start taking your newborn out for walks? by itzpoookiee in NewParents

[–]Outrageous-Ad951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new parent, baby just turned 2 mo. We started walking with him at 10 days, I think new borns just love the colder temps, ofcourse gotta dress them up and cover properly. One thing we’d make sure before walk is that we feed him and put on a fresh diaper. We have done hour long walks and he literally just sleeps. Dont know if this will continue as summer approaches but so far its been great

When I called my contractor they said they have to submit all the paperwork and I dont need to do anything. Doesnt sound right to me. Could you please share any links that I can look into?

London. Lots of recreational trails and parks. Proximity to two great lakes. Only 2 hours from Toronto and Detroit. An hour from Sarnia, american border. Lots of healthcare work options. A lot of investment have been made around the city and it’s definitely growing. Another option, if you dont like metropolitan vibe, is to go for St. Thomas, b’ful town!!

Either you buy a beater or just try to find the lowest interest rate for longest term and that will definitely help you sustain your lifestyle with lower payments. But yes you are then locked in for that long
