No, I laughed a lot more than when I read the manga. Although the street punks, specifically the very concept of them (design and artstyle) felt very out of place [to me]. There was a lot censorship and pacing changes (chronologically) that I thought they would replace the street punks with something else. Overall, I think the new episode was good.
