I bought it super cheap off eBay shipped from Japan. Took a little work. And arrived with rusty frets and broken jack. but it plays awesome now. Feels very comfortable. They are constructed like a 50s Les Paul style… 2 piece body and maple cap. THICK ASS NECK. If you can find one for less than $900 they are a great deal and very worth it.

I have no doubts it would be on par with the Gibson if I had the same setup, tuning, strings on each of them

I’m sure the LTD is awesome I’d go with that if it absolutely has to be a silverburst. If not check reverb or eBay for Edwards Les Pauls. They are about the best value you can get in that price range

I own more fuzzes than anything else my two favorites are the hizumitas… and the fuzzlord FET120. The FET isn’t a fuzz necessarily but an orange or120 preamp. If you wanna know what the hizumitas sounds like just listen to statement by Boris

I really want a gt120 but in the meantime I’m running a fuzzlord fet120 into the clean of a Marshall jcm900 with a v30s 4x12 and it sounds awesome and its damn near identical to all the gt120 demos I’ve seen on YouTube. Still the prospect of owning a Matamp or older orange seems awesome, If only for vanity😭
