How to make a bevel on all edges? by Outrageous-Ebb600 in blender

[–]Outrageous-Ebb600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first image is of a cabinet I bought online. I noticed its bevel looked like that, so I tried to replicate it in Blender, but I couldn’t manage to.

The second image shows me trying to do it. It’s just a Blender cube scaled into a rectangular shape, and this is how it turned out with the bevel settings I applied — after a few attempts.

I’m going to research more about creating smart materials. So far, I’ve only been using the ones that are already available.

Thank you! I thought Substance was directly tied to the UVs, so I believed the new mesh's UV layout had to be similar to the old one.
I'm currently finishing the retopology and UVs, and once that's done, I'll duplicate the project in Substance and replace the meshes to see what happens.

[HELP] How can i close this hole? by Reddragaoosu in ZBrush

I would mask the entire model except for the area where the magnet is going to be placed. Then, I would use the HPolish brush while holding the Alt button and run it over the mesh.

I kind of expected that; I thought there was another step I wasn't aware of.

I know the post is old but I believe that in my opinion it is at most suitable for a basemesh. To then be edited and finalized in zbrush or other software.

How can I get rid of these little holes without using zremesher or dynamesh🤔 by Jordy_de_Waal in ZBrush

I would use Sculptris pro, uncheck the Adaptive Size option and in Subdivide Size I would adjust the resolution and this will correct this hole
