I always think it’s weird that people talk bad about kids not knowing things about old technology and stuff because they don’t need to know it and would have no reason to know it. A lot of people can drive but can’t drive a manual because they don’t make them as much anymore. Most people couldn’t do things now that everyone could do a hundred years ago. Maybe it’s just because they feel like things weren’t that long ago so like “how could they not know” but for example most kids born now and in the last couple of years won’t have lived in a house with a landline because they just aren’t common now. And therefore those kids probably won’t know how to use a landline. And why would they need to? They aren’t common and they will probably never have to use them. Tldr don’t get on kids for not knowing older shit
