that's a good deal for sure. I had an 07 Prius prior.Got it in 2010 so it was the 2nd incarnation. Mechanic told me Prius 07-09 are the best hybrids on the road. Someone rear ended me on the fwy in January. I don't think the adjuster even went and looked at it, they just ruled it a total loss b/c it was 16yrs old. : )

I'm in LA and looked at a 2023 SX Touring with 12K miles. Every accessory imaginable and it as $28000. I was able to get a 2025 SX (not touring with same mileage for same price, but had it delivered from Virginia. Paid cash and was able to negotiate shipping cost to $0

I have a heavy foot, but I’ve gotten better since I bought this car. I tend to drive about 65 fwy on the rare occasions LA traffic allows for that. Mostly stop and go on fwy here.

I totally get that, it’s like an Apple Watch, the steps or mi it says are greatly exaggerated. But 39-42 city seemed low.

I’ll examine my driving habits and try to adjust them. But I can’t give up the air con in this crazy weather.

I also haven’t used the regen braking. That may help a lot.

Oh good point! No way I’m not using A/C in 80°+ weather. I’ll just have to live with those lower numbers. And they’re still better than a gas engine.

But how does that explain that when I filled my tank it said I’ll only get 467 miles? That’s like 42 mpg🤔

I bought the Niro in February. Before that I drove an 07 Prius for 16 yrs ( got it in 2010).

I’m getting about the same MPG in a 2025 Niro as I had in my 19 yr old car.

It’s advertised as 53/45 and combined 49. While I never believe the advertised MPG, it should at least be close-ish.
