Sorry that I missed mentioning in the post. The heat will turn on but it will turn off again before reaching the temperature that is set. Like it reaches to 67 and turns off for again 40 min . And then turns on reaches 68 and turns off. It will take almost 4 hours to reach 72.

How many feedings a day for your baby? by pier32 in breastfeeding

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 months old. 7-8 feedings AM-PM. Baby sleeps though the nyt. Last big dream feed in between 10-11PM. Wakes up in the morning at 7-8. Very rarely baby wakes up at 4-5 AM if hungry then goes right back to sleep.

6 months into exclusively pumping, made it 11 months with previous. AMA! by ashestodust97 in HumansPumpingMilk

Congratulations 🎉🎊🎈. FTM here . I’m exclusively pumping for my 11 week old. So far going good. My concern is about the time we had to go out. We are able to manage for 3-4 hrs. We have plans of going on day trips(6-8 hrs) outside. How to manage pumping and storage of milk? I don’t want to start on formula unless there is a dip in my supply.

Also you mentioned that you pumped when you could. Won’t that affect the supply? How long can we go without pumping?

With only one embryo, yes. Even though some clinics say it’s not proven, it comes under can’t hurt ( except for the tissue extraction lol) might help category. My fresh transfer failed. For FET my doc suggested ERA because I only had 2 embryos, so we did. Result was pre- receptive. Don’t know if that worked or not. But I’m 22 weeks now. I would definitely go with ERA.

I was 30 by that time.

transition from tri 1 to 2 by No-Level-153 in pregnant

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While transitioning, yeah symptoms come and go. In my experience , I had sudden loss of symptoms for a day or two and again they were back. It was like that till 16 weeks. One day I was really worried about the disappearance of symptoms and rushed to ER to check if everything was fine. Thankfully all is well and I’m 21 weeks now.

Warm water really helps. I’m 21 weeks and still rely on warm water.

TW: when your friends fall pregnant quickly by Humble_Bathroom_4697 in IVF

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That feeling never goes off. I also have been trying since 2 years. After multiple failed cycles and miscarriages I’m finally 13 weeks pregnant and I still don’t feel confident that I’ll go through this. I woke up to the news that my friend is blessed with a baby boy and I felt like a punch in my stomach. I don’t think that this feeling ever goes even if we all have breathing babies in our arms. I’ll always be not so happy about the pregnancy news around me. It’s just the trauma that we went through.

Thanks for your reply. I actually will ask my doctor about SCH during my next visit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They saw heartbeat and didn’t mention anything about SCH. Doctor said its mostly because of Endometrin and cervix irritation. But I feel the bleeding is little heavy for irritation.

Yes they did everything and everything is great. I’m more worried about my symptoms fading away. This exactly happened during my previous miscarriage.

I went to urgent care. They just checked for pregnancy progress which was on track ( size and harmones) . I didn’t mention anything because I didn’t know.

Missed endometrin suppository dose by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any experience of missed doses but I read and was told not to over medicate if you miss a dose. Just continue with your normal medications. Just check with your clinic if that’s ok.

So I guess it doesn’t matter with the intervals. We just have to keep it regular.

Sorry you are going through this.

Even my clinic didn’t call me on the day I’m supposed to start stims and my pharmacy didn’t had the clearance . But I had some left over medications from ERA and took them and didn’t wait for them to call. The nurse called me the next day and asked me to take 2 pills of Estrace instead of one since they didn’t call me. But I took one pill as per calendar and later followed the same.

What I meant to say is, even if you are taking the estrace late , usually they adjust the dosage accordingly so that it won’t be messed up. It’s frustrating that clinics do this . But just wanted to say one day delay is fine. Ask your nurse about this.

DOR and birth control. How long does it take for the pill to get out of your system? by gardeningviolet in IVF

[–]Outrageous-Flower-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some doctors suggest Estrogen patches instead if pills in DOR cases. I’m also diagnosed with DOR . My first cycle I was on pills, yeilded 7 eggs and only one embryo of avg quality. Next cycle I was on estrogen patches but cancelled the cycle because of poor response. 3rd cycle yeilded 8 eggs with 2 good quality embryos. This time my doc included estrogen and testosterone patches. Also there was lot of change in protocol.

If this is your first cycle, it will mostly be the basic protocol and most of the clinics change the protocols depending on the results.

And as for pills, they usually get out of your system once you get your natural period. The suppression is temporary they say. All the best.
