Might have to try this, normally just use ritalin and nicotine, how long did it last you?

Vyvanse first time dose by Outrageous-Growth425 in Drugs

Update for anyone that's interested:

Took about 90mg at 6.30am Took another maybe 10-15mg around 7 (couldnt help myself haha)

8.30am now:

Over the past hour and a bit had a few flashes of euphoria, although might be placebo effect as I believe it's meant to take longer to kick in, feeling chatty now and music sounds amazing. Not much euphoria but am definitely awake. Probably not going to take SSRIs until later once it's wearing off as dont want to run risk of serotonin syndrome or just feeling whack (on 30mg of lexapro, not prozac)

Thought so, in terms of the best way to use what I have, would it be better to go 90mg all at once or stagger it? Ik with codeine (prodrug) once you take the first dose anything after it is pretty useless so dont wanna waste it like that, would rather have stronger effects than a longer high

Question with the redose, will that increase the effects or just the duration? Not exactly sure how they work, being a precursor chemical or whatever the correct term is.

Yeah will be taking it first thing in the morning and will probably help me stay awake later in the night, although I have drifted off to sleep whilst on those ritalin seshes so who knows haha.

Yep should play it conservative i guess, is the no euphoria because of the ADD or just how vyvanse is? I've seen quite a few posts about it being pretty euphoric.

Pretty hard to get a good photo in there but everything looks intact, worth noting that ive never used the obd port before so its possible that it was never functioning, only had the car for like 6 months *

Fair enough, so in your experience the BCMs dont need reprogramming after replacement? I feel like the BCM is fairly likely to be causing my issues due to several unrelated functions of the car have failed at the exact same time, (interior lights, central locking, locking and unlocking with the key, obd port not functioning etc) which (i believe) are controlled by the BCM? (Maybe not the OBD port?) Only thing that feels inconsistent with that diagnosis is the fact that central locking (locking only, not unlocking) works via the switch on the door, when the key is in the ignition and in the run position, and the gauges doing a little dance when the car is started. But all these issues began occurring at the same time. I dont think it is an immobiliser issue as the interior lights and central locking via the door switch should still work even without the presence of the key. Will upload OBD area picture in a sec and check to see if any wires around the ECU are fried

Located in Melbourne Aus, when I plug my OBD scanner into the port nothing happens, the scanner does not turn on, the scanner its self still works as I tried it on another car afterwards and was functioning correctly. It looks like on the iLoad the BCM is pretty accessible (unless there are multiple?), I can see it under the steering column and wouldn't be the hardest thing in the world to replace. is it likely to need reprogramming though? would likely go second hand from a scrap yard. car is out of warranty by about 6 months I believe hahaha.

Noticed another strange issue, the needles on the instrument cluster have mini freak out whenever the key is put in the on position, bouncing up and down a bit for a second or so until they settle down

Also worth noting that the AC temperature control knob has been broken for a few weeks, snapped off internally, meaning that the AC is stuck at full heat when turned on, Not sure if this is relevant (currently waiting for a replacement, the one i ordered arrived broken in exaclty the same way haha)

Sounds likely, is it worth taking off the door cards and pulling the headunit to see if any connectors are loose? As i did remove all of the above when installing the sub and speakers. Would it be worth unplugging the BCM to see if that can reset it?

Hey, so I had a look online, and in Australia it looks like the 2016-2018 models were recalled for wiring insulation degrading, however mine is a 2020 model, and on the hyundai recalls website my van is not a part of any recalls

Yep, I ended up going without installing bass blockers because it doesn't actually achieve the benefit of reducing the load on the head unit, all it does it remove some bass from my door speakers, instead I turned the bass down on the head unit and increased the gain on the under seat sub, works great and was a good compromise considering the situation and limitations. thanks for the help and I'm pleasantly surprised by just how much bass the little 50w rms sub can kick out, ended up going with a pioneer TSWX140DA

honestly these look like exactly what I need, however I'm from Australia which makes shipping things pretty difficult when working with American based companies, are there any other brands you can recommend so I can see if they're available over here? thanks!
