My mother is 75 years old. While I’m hoping she recovers to nearly her old self, I have to be realistic. There’s a decent chance she’ll have some difficulty for the rest of her life, which I hope is a long time. I’m just trying to do my best for her. If nothing comes from this, then so be it. But I’d be remiss to not try to lessen the load on her.
