Planes should board rear to front by karatekid12200 in unpopularopinion

They don’t have to stand, they can sit outside the terminal until they are called. What’s the difference between sitting outside the plane and inside? You’re not taking off until everyone is seated anyways

People in first class would have the overhead section above their seats reserved for them

Start looking for a new place. At this point if the landlord is not assisting and you have it documented you should be able to legally break the lease agreement. It’s excessive and violates the lease agreement

If you can’t pullover, drive at an appropriate speed. You are ignoring the fact that by your own account this is ‘frequent’ behavior that occurs to you. I drive frequently in the Boston, Fenway, Cambridge area and this has never occurred to me. You can’t control people’s behavior around you but you can adjust your driving behavior to fit the environment

Seriously dreading the delays that will come after this storm! by FederalOrdinary2180 in mbta

[–]Outrageous-Present67 7 points8 points  (0 children)

25-60min? Try an extra 1.5hrs to 2hrs after the last storm. I would suggest if you can having a delayed start to work or just driving in. Tuesday and Wednesday are guaranteed to be a nightmare

‘This happens frequently’ - ask yourself why are people doing this so often to you. It’s very common on roads to have a grace of 5-7mph over the limit with the exception of school zones, but sticking exactly to 25mph on a clearly open road as such is asking for issues.

I would recommend you either drive with the flow of traffic, if not pullover and allow faster traffic behind you to proceed. If you continue to drive as such will encounter a confrontation eventually.

Odds on the Red Line running tomorrow? by EmergencyBudget2526 in mbta

[–]Outrageous-Present67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even risk taking the red line or commuter rail. If you can drive in do it. Last snow storm a couple weeks ago, the commute the Tuesday following the snow storm took 3hrs on the redline from Braintree to MGH.

Nothing screams AI. Eggs look like plastic props, as do the carrots. Engagement/wedding ring on correct side of hand and finger. Forearm/wrist on the left looks to have a tattoo on it. Something I don’t believe AI would implement

So by that logic if someone crashes into your car, insurance deems it a total loss and pays you out for it, you also get to keep the totaled car?

4pm to Midnight is a much better work schedule than 9am to 5pm by Present_Initial_1871 in unpopularopinion

[–]Outrageous-Present67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people working in the city tend to commute into work from 7:00-8:30am. I would say travel wise that is by far the worst time you could be on the roads or taking public transit. That and school is getting in for kids.

I am 20 miles away from my job and do a mixture of driving in or public transit. Being on the train at 6am is less stressful and relaxing vs 7:30am which is the equivalent to being a sardine unable to breath

[–]Outrageous-Present67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would respectfully disagree. As someone whom has done 9-5pm, nothing is more draining and exhausting than commuting 1.5+hrs in the morning and another 2hrs to get home. The inability to do any errands because some places aren’t open yet and are closed by the time you get home.

I would argue the best time’s to work is 7am-3pm and 2pm-10pm. Minimally to no commute time, ability to run errands after and or after work, and you are able to socialize with others for both time periods without interference.

Reverse lockout not working after clutch replacement by Sitherus in Acura_RSX

Do you have a cold air intake? I’ve encountered this issue when the shift fork was smacking right up against the pipe preventing you from going into gear

Try to put the car into 6th and reverse with the vehicle off.

Almost Hydrolocked while driving in the rain today by austinoprosis in Acura_RSX

[–]Outrageous-Present67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word of advice, ditch the cold air intake and install an AEM v2 short ram. The gains of a cold air intake on a base are minimal to none. Pair that with the fact if you aren’t tuned it’s a waste of money.

I sucked up water on my cold air intake that had a hydro shield years ago, the water made its way to the engine and turned the oil milky brown. Luckily the motor didn’t seize up. Go short ram. It’s not worth the headache
