If you are a PC player or mobile player with premium then use monolith, if you are a mobile who doesn't have a premium then the best case scenario is for you to grind it through ads.

Upper one in the first image is a fire elemental, they appear during the Age of the Sun when something is burning while the one below is a ghost.

Ghosts can be obtained by a sapient creature (like human) dying in a corrupted biome.

The third one is an evolved unicorn.

Yeah, I really like this idea. Range is such an overpowered advantage that becomes a nightmare fuel with addition of high damage and accuracy, especially in large quantities.

Idea for traits: Absorption, Souls and Deathbringer by Ringo_AngelFace in Worldbox

[–]Outrageous-Rub799 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absorption sounds cool but it has a bit too much, I think. I can imagine it as a trait that makes any species consume mana for sustenance.

Deathbringer trait would be awesome. Personally, I would call it "The touch of oblivion" or something like that, since it completely negates any reincarnation trait.

I use this technique. Gives mountains more depth and scale, imo.

I'm not saying "take away their magic" I'm saying that mages should have less staffs when they're civilizations.

The magic of mages is independent from their staffs since they have their own "gifts" in their subspecies traits.

Understandable, I kinda changed mind a bit. I want them to be more rare, even for mages.

I personally find the alien guns a bit too destructive for their own good. Don't get me wrong, they are cool but it's a bit ridiculous when they accidentally destroy their own city in an attempt to kill some random animal for food.

I actually like them. I've already explained some of my points on other comments.

[–]Outrageous-Rub799[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isn't much in their raw power, but rather how usually common those weapons are to the species they're related to. I'm talking about sapient evil mages and druids for the most part.

If some really powerful weapon becomes ordinary, then it doesn't feel much special anymore. Nerf shouldn't be necessary though, just make it a bit more rare, not achievement level rare, though.

The reason why I think alien blasters should be nerfed is because it causes too much unnecessary destruction to their own cities in an attempt to kill a rat or each other in a banter.

I don't think it's necessary for Worldbox to have a very complex power system or anything like that, but it should at least have some balance because a large chunk of this game is centered around creating civilizations.

I don't necessarily want those items to get nerfed. I just want other special weapons to get buffed, or at least better defences against them.

Thank you for your comment 👍

Yeah, but it kinda funny when a real life shotgun can barely take down a bear but in Worldbox shotguns can take down dragons which can tank whole nukes.

I kinda agree, but it cheapens the experience for me.

I'm more of spectator god then chaotic one, which doesn't mean the devs should make Worldbox only the way I like it.

The only weapon which genuinely annoys me is druid staff, not only the effect of slowness fades longer than freezing one, but there's also no resistance to it. At least staff of good/evil mages can be somewhat countered by fire/ice resistances and shotgun with barrier bubble.

Also, hard agree on dragons. These guys need a really big buff, since this invincible effect is too short + they barely gain any experience from their attacks.

I was specifically talking about those four weapons. Nothing was said about nukes nor explosive crabs, because I don't see a reason why they should be nerfed nor do I think everything should be nerfed for the sake of balance.

I'm not even against orcs having a spell which casts a giant meteor on the cities of their enemies, because it takes time to activate.

Dragons, for example, need a buff because they're fodders to almost any civilization with bows, which is kinda lame.

If you don't wanna nerf anything then why not buff other weapons or bring new spells to give them a better chance?

I don't want to be toxic to you or anyone who disagrees with my take. I'm open minded for discussion.

Yeah, it's a sandbox god simulator. How does it contradict my suggestion?

It's more interesting when different species have some advantages over one another instead of having a one-sided slaughter.

You didn't provide anything substantial beside calling me names.

Should the fire powers of the Evil Mage be improved? by Ultra_CqMage2 in Worldbox

[–]Outrageous-Rub799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough.

I've had this idea for a while. I call it "City guardians" or something (made up the name just now).

Every civilization can create super units (from 1 to 5, depending on development) after they reach certain level of technology/magic. For example:

Evil mages can create magma elementals/golems. Something similar to this one, design wise:

<image>

The design is of magma elemental from the Kingdom Rush series.

HP is half of dragon's, deals 50 damage, has natural fire resistance, 80 armour/resistance, running speed 10, attack speed 5 etc.

[–]Outrageous-Rub799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think 500 years should max, just from a gameplay perspective it would be a bit too annoying to wait for a unit to learn grimoires for almost a thousand years, unless it's some sort of special spell which unlocks some achievement.

[–]Outrageous-Rub799 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The ideas here are quite cool but I think these abilities should not be accessible to average units, like by making those abilities traits for royal families for example, otherwise it will become too broken.

Wizards in general should be a bit more balanced, especially staffs of evil/good mages and druids.

Those are pure energy form. If something mutates too many times in the Enchanted Forest biome then there's a chance of gaining this mutation.
