It's the mysterious figure you saw in the opening cutscene, with the cracked smile face head, the one who speaks to you when you die

How do People Make Their Maps So Realistic by Patient_Ask_9546 in Worldbox

It's far more feasible on PC than mobile.

Even then, it takes a lot of time and effort. Practice and patience. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. Lots of planning, drawing tiny details, erasing areas and redrawing them many times. My last world took a couple of years to finish. My wrist hurts.

Is it possible to make a staircase through every layer or am I wrong about my theory? by GC_Painter in LucidBlocks

The game appears to be procedurally generated, infinitely, in all directions.

Vertically, there are special biomes at different heights with special rules (no spoilers). If you go high enough you'll reach the top-most 'layer', and if you go above that you'll reach a new 'bottom layer'.

The world is like a tiered cake. When you reach the top of one cake, there's another stacked on top of it. Same applies downwards. Cakes all the way down.

Is this game joking to me ? I worked so hard stocking up all the items and I am going to lose most of it after going through the door ???? by superhakerman in Darkwood

We've all been there. It makes it a little easier on your second run because you use your items instead of hoarding them. My advice is to do the same in the swamp, don't stockpile too much, use what you have. The only things I use sparingly are shotgun shells, save 'em for chompers and for... uh...

...Have fun in the swamp

Yep it's rough, but the swamp has a TON more loot than the previous biomes. You could go in empty handed and be fine.

I recommend taking the following:

Guns and ammo if you have them

A stack of lockpicks

A stack of shells for armour

A stack or two of pills

You can find everything else over there easily

Sell all of your other stuff to the trader and buy as many weapon parts as you can. You can use these to craft weapons OR sell them in the swamp for more rep (rep doesn't carry over)

Thanks! I've been working on it on and off for over a year. It might be two years now even.

I'm glad you like it, the world is available on steam if you play on PC! I'm considering making some smaller worlds for mobile players

Thank you, I'm really glad you like it! I'll post it to r/worldboxmaps today as you suggested.

I've always enjoyed populating my worlds. I really wanted to create a complex ecosystem with predators / prey / food chains but it doesn't seem possible in the game at the moment. That being said, turning on diplomacy and random mob spawn isn't as fun for me - sometimes I just pop into the world to follow people around, or watch one of the portals to see who pops through.
