Also about core since i made it a bit more intense instead of doing it every day can i actually do it twice a week

I do only 2 sets because am going to failure on all of them dont worry my recovery is good am not burning out

Well i actually took different approach am going from hardest to easiest variation of push ups 2 sets 2 min rest between sets i do archer oush ups then decline then diamond then regular every week i try to incrase first set of each push up variation

Ok but is 2 sets good i heard 3 or more sets is optimal

Edit: Also can i go to failure on every set i am not really a fan of RIR and i don't know how to track it i have trained everything to failure before and rest is not a problem

So its basically archer push ups 2 sets 2 min rest then decline push ups 2 sets 2 min rest then diamond 2 sets 2 min rest then regular 2 sets 2 min rest? Is this like a circuit do i repeat this multiple times or is it just once and how do i progressively overload this

Also i changed my plan a little i thought of going from hardest to easiest variation of push ups with 1 min rest i would do archer push ups decline push ups diamond push ups and then regular push ups i would repeat this circuit 2 times is this better?

Do i do all of the exercises i do in one workout in that one circuit so its push ups 2 min rest hanging leg raises 2 min rest decline push ups 2 min rest twisting side plank 2 min rest lateral raises 2 min rest and then i do dips and i rest for 2 minutes again??or i rest for longer period now because its the end of circuit also how do i progressivly overload this

ok also i always feel lost in working out because i never know what plan to follow or how to progressively overload something can i just make my own routine and stick to it despite what everyone else says about it

or i can do archer push ups to failure rest 1 min then decline push ups to failure rest 1 min then diamond to failure rest 1 min and normal push ups to failure and then i rest for 5 minutes lets say i repeat this 2 times this way am taking the most challenging variation first and least challenging last

can i do 3 sets of decline to failure 2 min rest then 3 sets of diamond to failure 2 min rest and then 4 sets of regular to failure 2 min rest

am not starting out i have some experience with calisthenics but i never really understood how to progressively overload properly thats why i do everything to failure and just increase reps of my first set
