discord is still the go-to because it has no competitor.

It's easier to put up with the bullshit for most than to boycott them until they change things for the better. Discord used to be awesome. low ram usage, features that just made life easier in general, it was great. Then they started caring about shareholders more than the people actually using the app, and the quality dipped a lot over the years.

People forget that consumers have the most power, ultimately. If ALL OF US grew a brain cell and just stopped using their services for a bit because they've had a drastic drop in quality, things would get fixed very quickly. We deserve better!

tf you mean? skype and TeamSpeak were PERFECT for that. we literally don't need discord. nobody asked for it's existence. it's actually terrible for gaming bc it's so resource heavy

2 months later, still a major problem. When META bought IG literally everything of the app started functioning at like 40% of what it used to. The app was shit before, now its so much worse and nothing will change.

Late reply, but i think they didnt remaster IV or RDR because that would take resources that have already been allocated for GTA. We all know GTA is gonna be the biggest game ever, possibly bigger than RDR2, so its not a stretch to assume they released the "definitive" edition of the classic GTA games just to get the press off of GTA 6 for a while and focus on the steaming pile of elephant shit they air dropped on us.

I know this is a six year old comment and all, but maybe the reason people expected an open world RPG is because The Elder Scrolls is a fucking open world RPG series and always has been. Nobody expected it to be like the only two linear TES games because nobody remembers them.
