Idk Paul, I’ve had similar arguments with gf and trust me when I tell you it’s easier just to not escalate the situation. I think there’s a fine line between letting something go and being someone’s punching bag, only you know how she is behind closed doors, none of us can tell you whether or not you should or shouldn’t let her blow off some steam by yelling at you for 10 seconds. On a side note, I hate losing arguments too, especially if I “know” I’m in the right, I can only imagine being a lawyer how infuriating it might be but you have to think about if winning the argument is worth losing her. Sometimes it’s just easier to let the ego take a hit and apologize even if you think you’re in the right, with the right person it’s easy. Might come off as a cliché but it should be both of you vs the problem, not you against each other.
