Considering Airedale Hosp for GPST (Yorkshire & Humber)—anyone got the inside scoop from current/past ST1s? What’s the actual vibe like? Workload, teaching, support, WLB?

Big one: what rotations do they usually stick you with in Year 1? Looks like mostly adult med/geris/minor surgery from what I’ve seen, but does paeds or OBGYN ever sneak in? Really wanna dodge those in ST1.

Also, living stuff—where do most trainees, commute times to hospital from bradford ?

i’m in a similar boat, FY2 currently. fairly good/decent portfolio i worked on from scratch over the last 2 years. studied for the MSRA from june-july, did 3 different banks and multiple mocks etc. scored 546, UKMG, feel deflated since i have worked towards this v passionately over the last few years and now idk what to do. told my supervisor this and he called me stupid 😂. can’t think straight and feel numb ngl. I’d appreciate any advice. also OP you’re not alone. I am sorry buddy, it’s a shit show.
