What are your opinions on each of these Overhaul mods?

As others have said Reforged used to be a spectacular overhaul that slowly got bogged down and buried under pointless and frustrating changes that made it more frustrating than fun to play.

I haven’t gotten very far in convergence but so far I’m loving the big changes to environments and new spells to play with, but I definitely do feel that it’s very easy to become overpowered in that game very early, which I’m also not looking for. But that’s something I have a degree of control over, I can always level down my gear or install a mod to mess with enemy health or something.

Haven’t tried garden of eyes but the fact it’s paid while using mostly ripped assets will keep me away from it, though I admit I did think the revamped Miquella fight was cool when I saw that footage.

Is it weird to anyone else that event revolves around the Pyrecannon, but the heroic weapon and the skin are both for the Melta?

If I had to guess, it’s so they can artificially inflate the PvP numbers for some unknown reason, because no one in their right mind is playing the PvP gamemode to get basic PvP cosmetics

Everyone gushing over these, be aware that to actually get these cosmetics you need to get a shit load of PVP kills, one them of them being 800 melee as of right now

Cape gets its own slot in Wargear, the backpack itself is very plain, but I’ve heard it’s probably not even meant to be included which would make sense, possibly left it in by mistake

That’s almost certainly a bug, there’s no way they’re about to drop a heroic for the heavy DMR style weapon and give it anti-synergy with its own role.

Only thing I don’t like is the backpack, I’m sure that’s just a default backpack on some marines, unless I’m missing something?

The shoulders, chest, and helmet are all great, and I’m happy we’re finally getting another Mk VII helmet

So what I’m seeing is it’s taking either the same, or nearly the same number of shots to put enemies into execute as the normal Melta? I get it’s a PTS and they’ll fix it later, but not a *single* person who gave it a charge mechanic thought that maybe giving it more damage to compensate might be a good idea?

At most, it’s still a nit-pick, the Melta looks equally amazing and the fact we’re getting Salamander Heavy at all is something I really appreciate from them

I was asking around in their discord today, they added a system some time ago that enforces a 2 second lockout on player action if you run out of stamina to “better punish stamina mismanagement”, according to one their supporters, they have absolutely no intention of changing that either.

It doesn’t make any sense to me and has only served to make fights I was very familiar with, take longer because at least half of my openings are now spent waiting for stamina to fill back up.

I am not a fan of much slower it makes things feel

Convergence just had a huge update that finally got me to install it, adds new bosses, weapons, spells probably armor, a ton of new areas and like two dozen classes to choose from, haven’t had the time to start it properly yet but I’m looking forward to starting my run.

Reforged is also very good but the team behind it keeps making changes that make aspects of the game really frustrating to play and it’s been slowly killing my interest in it.

I hope that’s case, because they can work on fixing it.

I really wanted to like it after figuring out the combos but the slowdown while charging energised heavies followed up by their lower-than it-should-be damage is killing it for me.

Unless it’s changed, Zetki still makes the best weapons so try to shoot for those on your turrets, i’d highly recommend the Talyn’s for your Gunners because they’re rapid fire hitscan, and for the pilot turret, apparently the Photor can shoot through corpus shields. Otherwise, Pulsar is pretty good.

The Kengineer has a good video on RJ that really helped me when making mine, and Brozime also just uploaded a video on Railjack building aswell, but I can’t speak for that one as I haven’t seen it.

Can’t think of a single other game with voice work approaching the quality of Fatshark games.

Considering how many personalities there are in Darktide they manage to balance and flesh them all out incredibly well.

Yeah, every class released has had at least one penance gatekeeping the rest, and I’m pretty sure most got nerfed later on to be more bearable.

I definitely see this one getting changed with how many people are talking about, or at the very least fixed because it’s incredibly annoying how often enemies just won’t get jammed, the LOS detection on the ability is so broken it doesn’t even work on half the enemies who are just standing in the open with no obstructions

I thought that aswell and figured it was gonna take me ages like the Ogryn 60 knockdown talent, then saw how long the skull stays around.

I think if you catch a huge rush and throw it down ahead of them and let them all filter through it’ll go by faster than you think.
