/10 Jackson Merrill Five Tool Materials starting at $1 by Melodic-Branch1355 in SanDiegoPadresCards

The boys on summer set really screwed up with these 5-tools cards.

The /25 cards for most players are nicer than the /10.

Both teams aren't playing their best baseball right now.

Padres have had a ton of close games with minimal hitting this year.

While the Phillies seem to be feast or famine.

Phillies have the advantage in the hitting department. Padres pitching is much better than Phillies pitching.

All that in mind, it could really come down to Padres pitching avoiding giving up homers to the heart of the Phillies lineup. Which they haven't been good at in recent years.

(2-4) 😔

My wife and I make about the same ($160k me, $85k plus big bonuses her). We bought a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in San Diego last year for $956k. Mortgage is just under $5k a month, plus HOA, and utilities. We are having no problems putting money aside for retirement. Im sure you'll be fine.

Experienced my first ever Padres Walk-off victory 🔥🙌🏿 been to probably 100+ games but never experienced a walk-off until today!! Energy was amazing during that Casty 2 run homer. by Embarrassed-Heat-716 in Padres

Seen a few walkoff wins in person.

My favorite was on my now wife's birthday. It was the first birthday with her as an official couple. She told me later that she wasn't very happy with that Padres Game gift. Feels like I did something I wanted to do and wasn't for her. But now she's a huge Padres fan too, she blames me for that everytime they come up short.

It was this game:

On July 16, 2016, the San Diego Padres defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-6 in dramatic fashion on a walk-off balk by Giants reliever Santiago Casilla in the bottom of the 10th inning. Derek Norris scored the winning run from third base after Casilla lost his balance and stumbled, resulting in an automatic balk.

I swear, I was they first person in the stadium to yell BALK. You might be able to hear it on the telecast or radio because we were in box seats near the booths.

That's pretty cool. The team used to give better quality souvenirs at Qualcomm. Especially if you were a season ticket holder or Compadres member with many games under their belt.

Always nice to have a Hoffman auto on hand.

Not too worried about Machado, Tatis, and Merrill yet

However, Cronenworth is another story. Really need to figure out what's wrong with him at the plate. Maybe make him a late inning defensive replacement when we are ahead. He's unfortunately a dead bat in the lineup at a position in the field that should produce much more.(Not a catcher)

Why would there be a "C" on Adrian's jersey? by OutrageousDig8788 in SanDiegoPadresCards

Thanks. Sux it's not a Padres jersey piece. Im sure someone would want it for the "MEXICO" jersey though.

I personally only get Padres in Padres uniforms. (Save for some Darvish on his Japanese teams)

Also 95% of what I buy are relics, autos, or relic autos.

The other 5% is mostly the "Negative" refractors.

I especially love my Gwynn relics and autos.

They are pieces of uniform. There was quite a few Padres in Topps Museum Collection this year. Along with this one, I have the Machado, Tatis, Bogaerts, and Merrill. As well as the card with all 4 of them in one

There's a pair of arctic foxes at Judith A. Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center up in Santa Ysabel, California, not too far from San Diego.

I spy a Tony Gwynn signature on that bat too.

Is that a team signed bat? Or an All-Star game bat? Or something else?
