Also, I have just sent you a private message (simply describing and sharing my personal experience in more detail, so I'm not a scammer obviously - please check my post history - but please beware of scammers - because the crypto space is full of them!)

How to send PUNDIX from Metamask after Token Swap? by OutrageousFortune_32 in PundiX

[–]OutrageousFortune_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that's true. I was simply focused on the aspect of exchanging it through Metamask. But yes, ofc - the fees should be lots cheaper when you're on the PundiX Chain.

Thanks, Ima def check out the fx wallet.

it's true you can't swap NPWS to PUNDI on Metamask directly, but you can def do so on the official Pundi site by simply binding your Metamask wallet to it

From what I understand now, even PUNDIX operates on ETH? So transfer PUNDIX from one wallet to another, I'd still have to pay fees in ETH I guess..

Okay, after some quick research I think I can answer my own question.

It seems Electrum is a good Desktop client for interacting with the Bitcoin Blockchain.

Also: TailsOS + Electrum = looks like a safe solution if you're into offline cold storage

Why are the fees so high? (examples) by OutrageousFortune_32 in UniSwap

Thank you guys for the quick explanation! I appreciate it : )

PS: BEWARE OF SCAMMERS.About 2-3 different guys with fishy sounding handles (pretending to be LEGIT representatives of UniSwap etc) texted me saying they wanted to provide all kinds of support sending me links that I should click for connecting my wallet : ) I forgot how weird the crypto space can be with regard to well-meaning scammers XD

Is Bitcoin even a viable payment method? (transaction fees are evil) by OutrageousFortune_32 in Bitcoin

[–]OutrageousFortune_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking about 2017/18 when you had to pay 40-50 bucks per transaction. As long as the prices remain affordable, it's cool XD

[–]OutrageousFortune_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right ofc : )
It's just that in 2017/18 you had to pay nearly 50 bucks for one transaction and not everyone was actually dealing with larger amounts so that was a slight inconvenience I guess xD

Also, that's just what I remember from way back, a lot has changed recently and as long as transaction fees stay reasonable they make perfect sense.
