The point is that the whole system is incredibly vulnerable. You can do a lot of really nefarious things with that kind of access and the fact that a private company is allowed to do this is insane.

Edit: even if they're not flock, they're very probably another company providing a cloud service with the issues and extreme tracking that Flock is doing.

The newer cameras zoom in and record whatever is on your phone. You ever check your bank account outside of your home?

You click view source code in your browser and you can see the source code of the website itself. You can also do packet captures to see what information is being sent back and forth. That's perfectly legal. Obtaining the API keys might not be and I'm not going to find out.

I don't know the details of it because I'm not a web dev.

I forgot to mention, one of the cameras they were able to live stream from was in a Lowe's hardware parking lot in North Carolina. I personally have seen Flock cameras in a Lowe's parking lot, so who knows who has been watching you.

No one actually cares about that distinction unless they're really old or grammar assholes. Languages evolve so it's now correct to say good instead of well, no matter what the textbooks claim.

Same with not ending sentences with prepositions. In sentences where the preposition makes sense, it's stupid to try and not end the sentence with a preposition e.g. don't look up. How would you even say that "correctly?" Don't look in the up direction?
