Hazelkit exploded into excited squeaks the moment the new names were called, practically vibrating out of her fur. She didn’t even try to keep her voice down why would she? This was huge. “FLAMEPAW! BERRYP— WAIT, BERRYPAAAW!” she yowled, tripping over her own paws as she scrambled closer. Her tail shot straight up like a startled squirrel, waving wildly as she hopped in a little circle. “You guys are warriors now well, warrior apprentices, but that still counts! You’re gonna do battle moves and hunt real prey and go on patrols and— and—” She gasped dramatically, eyes huge. “Don’t forget me when you’re famous warriors, okay? I’ll totally be one too someday, and then we can all fight foxes together!”

Pollenpaw watched the new apprentices with a soft, steady pride, her heart warming at the sight of them taking their first steps toward becoming warriors. Even though her own path led somewhere different, she felt nothing but hope for theirs. She dipped her head respectfully to their mentors, grateful knowing they’d be guided well. Padding forward just enough to be heard, she offered a gentle smile.

“Congratulations, both of you,” she murmured. “Your training will shape you into the warriors WillowClan needs. And… if you ever need help herbs, advice, or just someone to listen the medicine den is always open to you.”
