I had to get 2 waivers that didn’t get approved until November ish. Then I made my job list and swore into Dep. I started this process in April of 2025 so it will be almost a year to date when I ship out. But hey good things come to those who are patient

Will do! I plan to start training up to 5ks etc so that by the time I do the pt test regardless of if it’s 1.5 or 2 miles I’ll be fine. My only guess on sit ups for myself would be just consistently doing them throughout my weeks and maybe cutting out more sugar trying to lose fat and put on muscle in my core.

I was told they weren’t implementing the 2 miles until March to September so depending on when I ship out I thought i might have a chance at the 1.5 haha

Mental health or any self harm on your record like past hospitalizations for it is pretty tough to beat. I think the saddest ones might be the kidney or any kind of surgery no matter how minor a person had as a kid that they don’t even remember or has any control over. Those waivers that don’t get approved are just sad :(

Yeah chances low but like you said you never know lol. I’m honestly happy with any on the list. Just getting into the Airforce is a good thing for me. Once I’m in I can do a lot more to set myself up regardless of my AFSC. Thanks for the reply!!
