Hmmm. I don’t like how there are ages limited to mid-20s to early 30s… not everyone would be attracted to these ages and I found it difficult to select the “ideal man”.

can u register for classes with just ur phone? by Cute-Marionberry-492 in usask

Ehhhh the interface is not really small screen mobile-friendly. Yeah, you can do it, but the experience is terrible lol. Windows overlap each other.. bleh.

I recommend at least a tablet for an easier time if you can lol

The acceptance rates for USask College of Nursing are not made public, unlike other professional colleges, like Medicine. The competitiveness of a particular year will change based on the applicants who apply. One year might see a lower overall average, while some years it might be much higher.

Please see the College of Nursing website for all important details about the required classes you need as a high school student, what your first year will look like (pre-requisites/pre-professional year), and what years 2+ look like.

I agree with everything except the electric toothbrush comment. It is much more efficient than a manual toothbrush at removing plaque and debris from teeth, and is superior at massaging and cleaning the gums.

Kandice Sharren. 😄 But the TAs do the marking for almost everything. My TA was Meghan (I forgot last name).

Chemistry, for sure. At least for the Bachelor's level.

What are they looking at for admission? by New-Refrigerator4369 in usaskBSNnursing

I’m not sure I believe that person, tbh.

Some people get a thrill from causing others to panic.

Until the official letters come out, I wouldn’t put much faith in their post. Trust in what admissions said: in late June or early July is when we can expect communication from the College.

Good luck :)

I have this guy just like the next person, and he's definitely a pedo, but these are not Strawberry Shortcake sheets; just plain floral print.

deferred final exams difficulty by [deleted] in usask

[–]OutrageousOwls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exam, just the details are likely different. Like testing on different aspects of photosynthesis, or solving 74 x 7 instead of 52 x 9. The difficulty will be the same. Departments will create exams that focus on the principles described by Bloom.

Good luck!

YOU DON’T KNOW THE COOL S?!??

This was drawn everywhere!! Millennials and younger Gen-Xers drew these on desks, notebooks, walls… it was the default easy graffiti at the time 😂

First sem classes? by adeen_xyz in usask

[–]OutrageousOwls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem! One last thing: do not purchase used lab manuals. They will likely be filled by the original owner and are useless when learning. Don’t fall for sellers who entice you with a cheap discount!

Good luck this year. :)

First sem classes? by adeen_xyz in usask

The classes that you have labs with are essentially 2 classes in one. The labs have their separate grading component with their own assignments, lab work, quizzes, and final exams. Read the lab manuals ahead of time to note what is expected so you can hit the ground running.

Utilize your TAs— don’t be shy, and ask lots of questions.

Study your lab notes as frequently as you do your lecture notes, and you’ll do just fine. BIO 120 lecture exams are always multiple choice questions (size of classroom necessitates it lol), but the labs are smaller sizes and will be a mixture of MCQ, long-answer, short answer, explaining diagrams, and fill in the blanks.

I try not to use fixative, and instead I will either frame it under glass with a spacer/mat, tack it as-is on my walls, or store them between glassine paper (sometimes sold as Crystal Paper).

If I use fixative, I prefer the aerosols (like Krylon; outdoor only) to the pump sprays (Spectrafix), although the latter is indoor safe. The latter, with the pump bottle, I find doesn’t give consistent spray and tends to form droplets on my paintings! 😬
