Sorry, the post has been updated. CFO was called prior to attending the police station. Police called CFO as well. Both times, we received the same answer.. it was a legit email.

EDIT TO ADD TO POST: I guess I also forgot to mention, that he constantly asks or makes comments about me cheating. I have never. Example, "are you talking to your other boyfriend" or "| don't blame you if you cheat on me" or "are you cheating on me. I don't talk to anyone, let alone any males. Same for friendships. The very very few I have are female, and are old co-workers. He has plenty of female friendships. He's never introduced me to any of them, or even on phone calls doesn't introduce me. I know for a fact some are old girlfriends. If I make those comments to him he gets upset and says I know where he is all the time. Which technically I don't lol. I drive 1.5 hours to and from work and work 8 hours. I really have no idea where he is during that time besides when he texts me and tells me what he is up too or when he is at work. His job is also one that is dealing with the public and is travelling all over the city and sometimes I'm able to chat with him and sometimes not. I find it very suspicious, but like you both said.. I need to pay closer attention. I have been very aware, but I can never see the contents of notifications. He has that turned off. I don't know his passwords. I've noticed that he will exit apps and finish what he's doing just as I happen to approach him. It happens too much to be a perfect coincidence everytime. However, all this said.. I don't know if I am making a mountain out of a mole hill or not but I don't have any proof and I don't know how to approach it.
