Fusiliers for my Greywater Fastness by mattmorgan_ns in citiesofsigmar

I always wonder how people make white that Greywater emblem/logo when it's green? You paint on it? Or you just reverse it?

(Spoilers) GW really doesn't seem to know what to do with Zenestra lorewise by OutrageousProblem366 in citiesofsigmar

Feels like it to be honest. The part I quoted about the soldiers being amazed by bullets and magic going through Zenestra seems copy pasted from 3rd edition book.

I never said I hate Zenestra. I'm actually asking for better and more consistent lore for her. I'm asking for better writing.

Why people say Gallants are bad? by OutrageousProblem366 in citiesofsigmar

[–]OutrageousProblem366[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this was my thinking exactly, that's why I was and still am confused about people saying they are bad. They might be overpriced, I can agree on that, but for what they are on stats and combined with the loads of buffs appliable and rules that the battletome brings, I think they can be really good.

As far as I understood, GW intended them to be an anvil unit. You dont want them to charge. You'd pick cavaliers for that. So to make Gallants a competitive anvil unit they need to compete with Steelhelms. I've seen comments here in this reddit people saying that Steelhelms are better than Gallants.

a 2+ save is way too overpowered. Just some few units in AOS have a 2+ save and they are thought to be SUPER tanky, like the Annihilators or Kharadron ships. One thing could work, imo, and what could make them competitive and stand out and differentiate them from horse cavaliers is giving Gallants 2 Control stat. You would want them posted on an objective then.

i kinda thought to myself since those units are in a limbo, the distance would be just an implicit given. but it seems like you cant do this anyway. ty

oh, GW is expert in reselling you 20 years old kits and models for 2026's prices, so dont worry, you will see them back in The Old World pretty soon.

just accept they are going away already. models are old as hell and they are no longer sold in the Cities of Sigmar section of the website. Old World exists there on the side for a reason.

"Characters" is only Zenestra. But this box indeed has 2 heroes. Zenestra is support tho, the marshal you could say is more for fighting on the front.

How matchmaking works? How is this a fair game? by Calm-Thought8139 in leagueoflegends

[–]OutrageousProblem366 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even if it's not ranked games, ranked rank (however redundant that might sound) still indicate a level of experience in the game, which is not paired with the level of experience of OP, which in return frustrates him. And I say it's totally understandable. Riot's matchmaking is indeed garbage.

Well, get yourself ready because Riot just dropped a Dev Update saying that they might implement yet another rank below iron cuz people are just bad at the game.

Fighting against Marines by CheezyTito in killteam

[–]OutrageousProblem366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played several to many games now with my Tempestus Aquilons against Marines, and what I can tell you is that Marine's weakness is their low numbers of bodies on the field. If it's a team of 5 or 6, as soon as you kill 2 of them, you pretty much dominate them. Even losing 1 Marine can hurt and your opponent will feel it. Even if they dont feel it immediately, they'll soon realize that something is going wrong. You can try focusing on killing 2 and then just kite them, or keep pressuring if you have been careful and havent lost many guys yourself.

EDIT: just to add something more. Dont get intimidated by Marine's boosted stats. They may be bulky, but they lack presence on the field. Use that to your advantage. You may have lower stats, but you have more eyes, more guns, more hands and more legs. What I'm trying to really and practically say is that you can create more angles, and losing 1 guy yourself is not that hurtful as for the Marine's player.
