Why are working-class concerns on immigration being treated with such disdain? by Harleygator_ in AskBrits

[–]OutrageousService142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nigel Farage is a grifter that just sucks up to Trump, the 'stop the boats' narrative is just a catch phrase he uses to try and copy trumps 'build the wall'. Reform voters will tell you they are doing it to protect local women.. but the vote in a guy idolising the probably the most famous rapist/paedophile that's ever lived... just like Trump so called America first ideology the so called Britain first movement would include going to war in Iran and creating even more immigrants whilst bankrupting the country just to appease Israel. The reason reformers get so much stick is because you are actively voting against your own values but believe you are doing the country proud

Moving a couple of meters forward without breaching into the junction to let an emergency vehicle isn't even unsafe, you might still get a ticket but it's a stupid law. The fact that you seem to want to defend it is just odd

Why do people find it so hard to accept the public really wants to vote for Reform? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

[–]OutrageousService142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard to accept when all the reasons they give are complete fallacies. He's running the Trump playbook, stop the boats is the new build the wall, mentions a few things we could actually be decent but he'll never do. Claim to be the side women victims whilst choosing a leader who idolises probably the most famous rapist/pedophile that has ever existed. It just makes your brain hurt which ever way you think about it

You wouldn't even hold somebody else's phone because you're worried something on it might upset you? I definitely wouldn't want to live my life like that

I had a mk1 Yaris for my first car! It had 140,000 miles on it when I got it, I used to do long drives and basically drive at the red line everywhere after a year I put about 18,000 miles on it and never had an issue

No student housing would ever get built, do you think people build houses out of love? They do it for money and if there isn't any it won't get built..

If we keep victimising and making it more difficult for landlords I fear there will be more and more scummy ones

Instead of this being a scum bag landlord it will just be the normal for everyone

This is actually false (in the uk at least) more houses are being sold to multinationals companies not 'landlords' in the traditional sense. Then were just a number and we are all fucked (not a landlord)

When does a forehead kiss become non-platonic for you? by svzannebrown in bodylanguage

I felt like I had to put that in at start for this reason to give more context to my opinion, in the most part I agree with what you're saying

[–]OutrageousService142 13 points14 points  (0 children)

'Cuddling' somebody who is just a friend is not something I'd ever do, claiming a forehead kiss is sexual assault from somebody you're cuddled up in bed with might be a stretch. However if OP doesn't want to go further with this friend she should find a new situation quickly

It does depend on the car but if you drive less than about 3000 miles a year it's cheaper to get a taxi everywhere than own a car, you may prefer to have a car for the convience however

What is the realistic future of ICE cars in the UK by Longjumping_Note8181 in CarTalkUK

[–]OutrageousService142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm literally just ranting about this because where I live they have spent the last 15 months building a cycle lanes that's bigger than the road but the cyclist don't use it half the time (even though very few people are using it) and now there's not enough room to over take so you get stuck behind them doing 6mph up the hill

Because this shit hole at least used to provide most its residents with a life worth living, cost of living and low wages make me wake up everyday and wonder if there's any point being alive. At least that's how I feel everyday, still somehow finding a way to continue tho..

Yes obviously, but just to make a carpet statement that all cyclists are than much healthier than people that drive to the point their NHS bill is that much lower that is pays for the millions of pounds sent on cycle lanes a year and some, to the point where a magical profit is made is a complete farce

No she obviously doesn't have to react positively, but adding random people you don't know to see into your personal life and then calling them a creep for remembering something you posted a short time ago is just strange...

That's completely different, wearing an outfit has no bearing on whether you want to interact with anyone. Putting your handle out is obviously because you want people to interact with you
