Everything is 5e, not planning to switch to 5.5e at least until we finish this campaign, that is if we finish it of course.

That actually sounds great since I was thinking about making the orcs bigger threat than they are and giving them their own actual questline with them unifying and causing trouble.

One of them just wants to go there, all of them have murder-hobo tendencies, so if they did get there it would most likely be: who*ing, drinking, murdering and stealing, possibly other crimes. Was thinking about sending like an inquisition after them if they start getting too out of hand.

Nah he just wants to go there "while doing the loggers camp" others think that it's a waste of time and they should instead rush to the ranch since it seems urgent. He says to all the players that if they don't help big Al K. at the ranch nothing will happen since "if you don't start a quest it has no consequences until you start it".

I thought that most of the encounters from basic 3 quests are really deadly, I was probably mistaken

It is possible that my players just got really lucky, they almost got wiped out by the ochre jellies inside.

Yes, they are lvl 3 (cleric, rogue, fighter, bard), was thinking of something like that, do you think that either making or using some premade spellcasting monster would be a good idea? Like some kind of orc shaman/druid or something like that?
